Is what crypto.piotr Spamming?
This memo spam argument is like the nobidbot and anti-spam badcontent blacklist goodqualitypolice.. it's a sort of economic terrorism waged by those who want to maintain hegemony - they go out like champions, bearing flags and waging this war for all of our good -- but what you and I are saying is.. where's the spam rainstorm.. send me there I want to stand under it with a bucket and collect it.. 0.001 SBD spam give me more

My account attracts more attention because I am producing content, engaging with more accounts, adding to this platform. So kindly stop exxagerating. See the Army of Memo's as some reading practice, look at the positive side. Maybe it will rub off on you and you will start writing one day.

Please understand that every person can go about doing business his own way. If your business idea fails, don't be a @heimindanger and get nasty.. just go back to the drawing board, re examine your understanding of human behaviour and come back again. good luck

Im honestly running out of ideas how to build my presence on steemit since.
Ironic he or she is arguing that the wallet is for sending money only - but his service relies on us senidng him a message in the memo - a message which includes the link to the post he should resteem in exchange for th emoney we send him.. one message is not ok, as long as he doesn't get money from it. Now we all understand.
Wallet is for sending money. Memo is not for messages. Sen me 0.200 SBD and URL as MESSAGE in the MEMO
Not a URL and 0.200, my bot gets hiccup and I lose some time and money I have to actually do some work and read. Steemit is not for reading and doing real work, it's a cash cow - and for quality content ;-) I share your posts to real users thousands of real users who read your content - use my resteem service
From my understanding it's allowed and publicly accpeted to send small amount of funds to anyone with a memo. Steemit is not providing their users with correct communication tools. We're not even being able to send a notice/message to private individual. Not to mention sending a message to a group of people.
I see many other users trying to boost their posts this way. Why would you be against this method of promoting yourself on steemit? It's already very hard for anyone without big funds to build a presence.
a flag is to be used when you disagree with reward or find something wrong illegal or otherwsie with the content. Your statement that you don't care about the topic* is an admission that you abused the flag to punish someone for doing something perfectly legal on this platform. It is your sort of action that is the real scam and abuse here. A memo can and should be used for anything. There is no rule to disallow the use of the memo for messaging. Whichever persons are behind the abuse of the flags will eventually be removed from here by sane and fair-minded people. have your day today, sir.

BibBots and these flag abusers are two different breeds though. Every thug has his muscle men. It's petty and obscene quite frankly. It is a wallet and not a message system.
He can going on abuseing it for spam, but then he has to live with the flags from the Steemit community.

Some people try to abuse our name or steal content from us for their account.
Then they start start spamming or worst scamming people.
Of course we don't accept this.
Name the account where you talking about, we think is the account, that was flaged by Steamcleamers for abuse.

The wallet is like the name says for sending money.
The memo is for the payment details.
Sending a payment just to send a message is spam. It's even worse to send strangers messages.
Who does not understand this, should first learn some basics about crypto.
By the way in classic business it is also illegal.

perhaps bot owners (like the one owning @restee.bot) should focus on fighting with other bots which are spamming accounts every day. 24h a day.
attacking regular user who is trying to promote quality content will only bring you more enemies.

Memo spam is a growing problem on Steemit.
Some people fight for one function that allows you to flag wallet spam.

Why wouldnt you flag someone bigger than me and risk being downvoted to 0? the easiest way is to release on small hard working content builders.
