oh my melinda010100...I did hear that the trial was going on but I didn't know the details, all I heard was that the cop was on trial for shooting the kid, what were the particulars of that case anyway? why did he have to shoot him that many times?
But yes I'm glad he's out of there safely too!
I didn't follow it, but he was found guilty, so hopefully the city can breathe easier this weekend! I work hard at avoiding the news, as it usually makes me cry. I see no reason to invite all the nasty people in this world into my home via my TV set.

howdy melinda010100! hey what is that number in your username anyway? lol. Well the tv was on tonight and when I heard the story of the cop and his trial I came running in to hear what it was.
That was crazy the way that happened but I don't blame you for not watching the news, I don't see much of it and I don't exactly miss it either, it IS rather depressing! Lots of bads news, most of it is bad news. I think the local stations try to balance it out but the big ones like cnn all they do is bitch about Trump.
The number is a date... First day of the new millennium. January 1st 2000. I was switching email accounts at the time changing from Yahoo to Hotmail and it just seemed like a number that would work! I have a friend that said when she sees it she always puts an Irish accent on it and calls me Mel O'loloo.
I did turn on the live feed of the trial and watch them read the verdict and breathed a sigh of relief. That City will be much less tense tonight. And it's good to know justice works sometimes.

But I don't get the Mel O'loloo thing, I don't know how she gets that out of it but I applaud her creativity. Man there's alot of that going on with this platform!

That's why when I first got on here I was too shy to post anything, it took me two months to post anything! lol.
I was lucky that when I started here I already knew a large group of people that I had been friends with over on Tsu. We were all able to help each other get a good start here. There certainly are some incredibly talented people here. Its a pleasure to see and read everything that gets posted!
