"It was Saturday and a heavy downpour had just stopped. Mid-afternoon and the sun's rays were beginning to show again. I had my camera with me and set out to take some pictures there, of and from the front steps. When I was at my most inspired, a custodian called my attention that I could not be there taking pictures, that foreigners could not be there at that time because the UH was closed. I explained to him why I was there and he let me continue taking pictures."

"As I walked through the oldest streets of the city, I came to a huge, central avenue with a park. The Parque Verde da Várzea was right there. I just had to park the car, and although I had to pay for parking, the fee was quite symbolic. Most likely to prevent overcrowding of the most desirable parking spaces."

"Starting this day out today, it was our second day of the Spiti expedition, and it was just the beginning of the month of October and something magical happened, guess what out of nowhere, the snowfall just started by even we had no preparation, no tents, no food. Nothing at all as usual. These places doesn’t snow like that, but still, the lands are unpredictable."

Wow, that must have been such an unexpected and magical moment! Snowfall out of nowhere sounds both thrilling and challenging, especially without any preparation. Nature really does have its own way of surprising us!
