Hello to all the people of #Hive and #SWC! A very special greeting for all users who are part of the community of Calisthenics. Today I bring you a simple but very effective training to strengthen the shoulders, ideal for those who seek to gain strength and stability, especially if they are focused on advanced movements such as iron. Recently, I have felt some fatigue and muscle tension on my shoulders, so I designed this routine using only one dumbbell. The objective is to alleviate these discomfort through progressive and controlled strengthening, thus improving my performance in training.
The routine consists of making military press with a single dumbbell, executing series of five repetitions for each arm. This movement not only helps develop strength, but also improves the stability of the Core by working unilaterally. Then, complement with prono grip repetitions (with the palms down), which involves different muscle fibers and contributes to a more complete development of the shoulder.
This approach has allowed me to better connect the musculature, reduce pain and prepare my shoulders to demand more in my calisthenic practices. If you also feel overload or simply want to prevent injuries, this routine is perfect for you! Always remember to heat and listen to your body.
