Static Combo Training
Hello everyone at #Hive and #SWC. Today I want to share with you how my most recent combo workout went, which I did at my friend @mclionblack-sw's house. I chose to train there because it has everything I need: parallel bars, a barbell, weights, and bands. Training with him also allowed me to gain feedback on my weaknesses, my current condition, and the flaws I need to correct to keep progressing.
In this session, I worked on combos focused mostly on intermediate and advanced static moves. In the video, you can see the execution of a planche straddle, an advanced front lever, and a bit of a back lever, each with a 3-4 second hold. These exercises are key to developing strength and control, as it's not just about holding the position, but also integrating these movements into fluid sequences. Static training not only strengthens the body but also improves the endurance needed to execute longer and more complex combos. This allows me to better visualize the transition between movements, perfect my technique, and maintain quality with each repetition. Additionally, training with an experienced partner helps me identify details that one sometimes overlooks.
These exercises are essential for those participating in static-only competitions, as they demonstrate not only the level of strength that can be achieved with one's own body, but also the discipline and consistency that calisthenics demands. In each session, I reaffirm that the combination of strength, endurance, and technique is what truly makes the difference.

I thank you for taking the time to read my post, I hope you like it and follow me for more.
