News on the Prize Wheels and a special
As most of you have noticed there have been no prize wheels for a couple of weeks
Call it the Xmas break if you wish,
But never fear, they will be coming back in the New Year with some changes
To all of those that supported the Wheels in 2020, The community thanks you
Remember that the prize wheels are about community engagement as well as winning prizes.
As a special prize I will be holding New Years Eve spinning wheel
All you need to do is Up vote this Post and guess a number between 1 and 100 and put it in the comments below.
Also make a comment as to what was your favourite thing about the year 2020 to share with everyone
I will add these numbers to a special wheel and spin on New Year’s Eve, (Eastern American Time)
The one with the correct number will win, if there is more than 1 with the correct number then the prize will be divided between the winners

I'll take 13. My favorite part of 2020 was seeing that my church family would keep going, unafraid, serving the community. We never stopped feeding people spiritually and physically.

Becominga Dolphin was put on delay for me after I lost my Job and went into a bit of a funk but will get theer by the end of January :) and congrats on the E Books

I guess I would have to say my favorite things about 2020 are getting involved in crypto (especially Hive), being involved in the CTP community and the support they provide, and actually making money online.

I choose 75. The favorite thing for this year was the time i got to spend together with my future wife, we been separated now for almost 6 months due to current travel restrictions. Hoping things will ease up for the new year. Great initiative with the wheel spin. Best of luck to everyone.

My favorite thing of the year for me personally was being forced into working from home, which allowed me to do all the work I had to do, while saving about 2 hours daily on commute and getting small projects done around the house.
Hi @rarej - Thanks for your entry and comment - I agree I know a number of people that spent 3 hours a day commuting and working from home gave them that extra time to spend with family , not to mention the weekly savings, I know when I was working from home I saved 6 tanks of petrol :)
Yeah, saved me a lot on gas as well. Forgot about that.

OH! I almost forgot - even though 2020 was difficult for all of us in one form or another, it actually was a good year for me overall. I grew a lot spiritually, rediscovered some joys in life I forgot & really found my voice .... might do a video on what I learned this week :) Sorry, forgot to answer that question in the last response lol :)

Year 2020 was the unforgettable year for all of us because of Corona CoVid 19.
But, the positives out of this for me was making more time for the family especially my 2 kids and also involving more and more on Hive related activities on Hive and Twitter.

Family is always an important aspect of our lives and I hope that 2020 has brought many families closer together.
I've had a few lows this year due to numerous family members passing away. However, I always bounce back and try to make the best of things.
I've had some highs also:
Became a Dolphin in October
Powered up my Hive for 12 consecutive months
Reached Hive Level 69
Welcomed 2 new great nieces during covid times

2020 was great for my family because it showed employers that people can work remotely and do it well so it will hopefully lead to more remote work in the future or permanent remote work.

I agree, a lot of businesses are realising their overheads for premises are a bit defunct :)
I worked from home for most of the year untill COVID economics hit my employer and I was made redundant.
Having said that I did get to move back to my home in a regional area and that is a definate positive
