Dance with a Stranger is a Norwegian pop and rock group from Kristiansund. The band was founded in Bergen in 1984, and they launched their first album in the markets in 1987. The band has given out six studio albums, one concert album and two compilation albums, and they have won three Norwegian Grammy Awards. They have among other things been elected to the Norwegian musician of the year during the Norwegian Grammy Award in 1991.
You find the music from Dance with a Stranger at the ordinary music platforms on the internet, and they are YouTube, YouTube Music, Deezer and Spotify. And dancing can be done with a known guy or with a foreign guy. And in the international markets, there are many foreign guys. A dancing is all the movements you are doing with another human than you, and we are trying to get a closer look on another body.
There are several known music pieces with Dance with a Stranger, and they are: «Long December Night», «Everyone Needs a Friend» and «The Invisible Man». And we are needing love and appreciation many places, and we should be respected as a friend of the earth, and there are sometimes that we are invisible, also like a human asset, and sometimes we are visible, and this is the way the human mind and the human body are functioning. The known albums from this group are: «Everyone Needs a Friend», «Atmosphere», «To» and «Dance with a Stranger». And we also find music videos on the internet with these groups, and they are: «Everyone Needs a Friend», «Dance with a Stranger», «The Invisible Man» and «Trailer Original». And the music from this group is getting pleasure, utility, hope and inspiration for many people.
The present members on this group are: Frode Alneas on guitar and as vocals, Øyvind «Elg» Elgenes on vocals, Per Mathisen on bass from 2014, and Bjoern Jenssen on drums, and there has been a former member, and that was Yngve Moe on bass in the period 1983 to 1996, and he died in 2013. Yngve Moe died in an accident. The group Dance with a Stranger has been active since 1984, and it is still active, and we are many people loving the music and the products from this group, and many people love their presence and admiration and respect and smile as they have from time to time and from place to place.
The different bands around the globe must be active in marketing, strategy and information, and they should give the markets what they expect. And there is always a philosophy of brand management, and the group should give pleasure to the markets, and there is a good thing if the audience loves the music. Branding is about giving concepts, measures and strategy to the markets, and often the group members are giving their best in relation to their capacity and the human nature in the nature.
The guys in Dance with a Stranger are looking for love, and they are looking in the present and in the future, and everything is about understanding oneself as one is, and identity and where you come from is always important, and you should understand your functions in relation to other people. And we are here to help each other, and the human philosophy that we can have, is that we should try to operate alone and together with other people, and we like what we are perceiving, and life is also filled with strange, sorrow and meaninglessness. And understanding oneself is not always easy, but the more you understand your own body, and what is going on in people’s heads with thoughts and feelings and actions, the better foundation you have for making things that are wanted in the markets, and satisfaction is the best things we can have in marketing. Marketing is about giving a product into a market.
