Well thanks for your very constructive and utterly useless opinion :)

Which you're entitled to. Of course!

Enjoy your day ☀️

Not at all. Considering the mount of research you do to formulate your opinions, I've come to the obvious conclusion that they aren't worth respecting is all.

But again... you're entitled (to them)

They most certainly don't matter to me at all, however. So opinion away :D

This one is so off the mark it honestly isn't worth engaging with.

Are you sure you have the right person?

Some curiosity and action - for learning purposes now.

Now this doesn't really bother me because I'm a big girl and am fine with myself these days. I do see some young people on here who are still struggling and who are vulnerable and some old people too. We all have trauma etc.

My question here is. Harassment and psychological/emotional abuse. These are criminal activities now. We all know this, these days.

@hivewatchers - what protocol does Hive has in place (if any) for possible criminal activity, please?

Do we report it outside the blockchain and if so how would one do that? I assume such matters are outside of the communities reach @jpbliberty ? Sorry to hassle but it's an interesting one, I think? For user safety. All for freedom and respect. But there are "unhinged" people running around who intentionally cause harm so one would need to address this in any society?

What thoughts, please?

I'd still like to know who this is :) They turn up at interesting times and I suspect it's a someone else who is well established on the blockchain and this is done intentionally to get people to bail. I'm too old to be scared off. I am, however, interested in the rights and protection of less healed people. And my investment in this blockchain. I'm over a year old now :)

Thanks for your time and looking forward to hearing your thoughts, please.

What say @baah ?

Shall we sit together, face to face with a third party, and end this amicably now? This would make the most sense and we might both learn something?

Why haven't you blocked this shit already?
It's not like you can use it for projects and stuff. Do you enjoy giving attention?
Are you a masochist like my brother?

:) I think shit needs to be addressed. Or it doesn't change.

It doesn't bother me that much. Just shitty to have to deal with it. I worry more about the young women who this happens to who aren't as used to this shit, as I am. By my age one has been exposes to it a lot! It is what it is. Like racism. Or any ism.

But it should be addressed.

You're back :D. With my boy right now but will check in shortly. And you're so valiant! Love it! I'd totally do the same for you if someone was giving you shit. #justsayin

I also want to expose this shit, by the way. And I'm pretty tencious so I hope he comes to the table like an adult.

I'm not holding my breath or anything.

Ohh...f off...today was the first day in my life when I had to Google about 20 words...now you given me valiant...do you have mercy or you are just mean to the whole world... comeon 😉

:D

Well I had to Google some Romanian so now we are even!

Please don't hold your breath...it only works for 45 secs . I need you more !

Hah... I think real deep divers can hold their breath for more than 45 seconds?

Sadly, I can not.

Afraid you're stuck with me until you disappear.

Morning. Just to let you know I'm not bothering to read your comments until you come out as yourself now. I'm officially bored with this non-conversation.

But feel free to waste more of your time.

Always here when you decide to man up, be yourself and sit and talk like an adult. Have a great day though :) It's beautiful here today!

Hello.

People have different opinions and different worldviews on Hive.
What is considered offensive to one person may not be offensive to another.
We cannot censor someone because someone else got offended.

Personal disputes are not part of our scope of work.
If there is anyone who you think that is offending you, I would recommend ignoring that user and muting the account.

Hello and thanks for the response :)

Yes, I hear you. It's why I'm interested in web3. Freedom and respect for the individual.

I'm interested in the legal aspects? So I will wait for feedback from @jpliberty if they have time then.

What I'm understanding, from your comment, is that Hive currently has no community standards that are enforced regarding possible intentional (keyword) abuse or harm to users. And nothing in place to monitor and correct possible criminal activity. Or possible Human Rights Violations.

Possible and alleged. Obviously.

Is this correct, please?

Take your time. This is a big conversation. But extremely relevant in 2023.

I don't (personally) think it is the chain's responsibility to investigate. I'm not sure if there might be steps taken for resolution by a blockchain though. Many facets to this amd worth considering in development of any community. Or not, as it were.

Very much depends on the ethos, vision and direction of any blockchain, I guess. And also how much a system is liable under what law, if any? I do enjoy law and tech so this something I'm going to be lookikg at now.

Feedback appreciated, please? I'm pretty new to Web3.

Muting a user is not censorship since everyone else can see what the user posts except you. It's the same as muting someone on Instagram.

Copy copy.

Hmmmm... I'll have to give that some thought. It seems a bit cowardly to me. In an open community. I do like to hear all perspectives. And if someone isn't well mentally or something should they be shut down / ostracized? Strongly disagree with the "pack mentality" etc etc. Lots of components here. :/

I speak of the legalities. That is important.

Do suggest you guys look at that aspect asap. No age consent on sign up on PeakD for example. Dangerous for you. I hope to hear more about a page with suggestions for action for the younger humans in such circumstances moving forward - education on their legal rights and links to relevant organizations for support and assistance? Would be responsible for now and show a bit of awareness and pro-activeness for situations like this, the dangers of the internet and sometimes unhealthy dynamics of social media itself etc.

Quite apt it happened on this particular post! Brilliant, in fact.

But not when younger humans are cyber-bullied and kill themselves. Because a community allows it. Right? Sadly common these days.

And then there are the legalities. Of course. A kid kills themselves because of stuff like this and some parents are going to be a bit angry with you. Okay? So no :) I'm not offended. I'm not "dramatic". I am old and a liddle wiser now. We don't walk outside of the law. The end. Come now.

I don't know much about the legal aspects. I do hope to hear from Andrew at some point. Interesting...

Thanks for your feedback.

And community guidelines. Even Discord has them and bans members. Protect yourselves for god's sake

Edited: Perhaps legal guidelines to educate people. Even better! More towards personal responsibility then. More mature and more "free".

But perhaps at a certain reputation level an account is automatically banned and wallet contents go towards a fund for legal assistance for Hive users who want to pursue Civil action and protect their rights?

That wouid be something, huh?! :D

Think out of the box. But I've been roaming and it's blossoming out there. Big time now! And the Web3 social media that wins this race is going to be the one that:

a) makes the user experience the most personal and authentic (most personally "connected") i.e the most "real"; makes people feel "seen" and valued

b) the one that manages to balance freedom and respect / community somehow

In my opinion. Of course :) But let's see how this all unfolds. Interesting times!

Furthermore there's a vast difference between opinion and violence. Right?

Legalities. I'd like to hear more.

Sorry you have to deal with this. But then... we all do. ❤️

I'm sorry to get involved, but it is in the hope's to help...I'm afraid you don't really understand web3 or decentralizes....the whole purpose of it is that it can not be controlled by anyone entity,it is supposed to be above& behind the law! Online wild west!
Imagine someone gives a kid a brick of gold...the government doesn't know about the kid or the gold, yet you expect the law should protect both! It makes no sense,or it makes it impossible, better sayd! Hive has no headquarters or CEOs...most Witness are anonymous,if you didn't realize that, and they just run a nod, they won't be responsible for the content! Hive has about over 500 nods, they all run the interface you use. What you are asking is to integrate web2 here, which makes the whole Blockchain pointless! You can go to EOS platform then, which is created by the same Dan that made Steem/Hive codding...and they become a failure because of that!
The point I'm trying to make is that if you loose your kid in to the wild, who you gonna sue?who is at fault?who is gonna get her gold back? No one.
And leave alone that troll, and he will stop! What I see is that you wanna keep it on,you keep going back to provoke him..

Apologies. I'm anti cencorship and won't mute on principle.

It takes an immense amount to "offend" me as well. Not offended. Not sure that's possible anymore :D

But I wont allow my kids to join now. Obviously. Especially my daughter. Not until I understand this better.

I am curious about the legalities. Which you should be too because these are there to protect you guys as well, see? No system is above the law. Obviously.

But what and how is my curiosity.

I sense nothing like this was considered in the panic of the hardfork?

I imagine the Witnesses would be held liable if something criminal was facilitated by one of their nodes for example?

Unusual circumstances. Web3. Being decentralized. See?

Lookikg forward to more of your thoughts. It is a very interesting conversation. But then I'm a bit of a nerd. ;)

Thought you may enjoy this one :)

I could check most of them, but not the "spiritual awakening"that only happens to people already fuctup on other shit
A down to Earth person will never achieve that kind of shit.

Funny guy.

"Maybe we're having a spiritual awakening. I'm not quite sure!" stolen and changed from a trance track 😆

You can achieve the perspective that there's something greater with meditation. I thinks it's about dissolving the ego mostly. That's all.

It can be done with focus and intent. But not all of the time. Dogs get it faster and better than we humans do, I reckon 😉
