The new cellphone camera is pretty neat. Got this woodpecker (?) at 12.5 zoom. The AI does some of the work the cellphone has only 3x optical zoom, the rest is digital and AI supported. Looking forward to using it a lot!

But the cause of this is his health issues. He will need treatment and possibly rehabilitation.

No, thank goodness. But his back hurts so much, he can't stand, painkiller injections don't help. He is almost useless there - it's kind of trauma and inflammation... Can't wait for him to get home and take proper examination and treatment.

Jan. 1 I did something I've never done in my life: snuck into a secluded pond with wife, did a polar plunge to start the new year. And did it skinny dipping-style to boot! Gonna be a good year.

(Full disclosure: wife chickened out because bottom of pond was "mushy" and it actually wasn't that cold, but still.)
