Thank you for the nice comment! If there's anything we didn't want to do anymore it's another rental. Two similar(ly) negative experiences in less than a year ( in Portugal and Italy ) taught us enough.Today we managed to turn things around significantly. A first little but important step in the right direction ( installing a small stove in our bedroom ).

We're still open to another rental, but aye - it's so hard to know how a house will be, before living in it a while...
