How does the contest work?

 

Obviously the contest is all about Clouds: You can draw, take a picture or use any other kind of medium to portray clouds in any form or manner! I want to stress again that this contest is not strictly a photography contest! Artists of all paths are welcome 😊

There are of course some usual rules for participating:

1. Upvote and reblog the contest OR Upvote and promote the contest with a link
2. Make a comment with a link of your work below this post
3. All of the submitted works must be original and made by you!
4. Only 1 entry/post per person
5. Post in the 'Love The Clouds Community' or use the #lovetheclouds as well as the #PoB tag

All entries must be submitted before this post closes

What's the prize pool and who will win?

 

• There will be 3 finalists chosen by the community in an upcoming post entitled "Love The Clouds Finalists?", so be sure to vote if you are a community member!

• Each finalist will receive their equal share of the Hive and #PoB payout !

• Additionally there will be four honorable mentions who will each get a 30% upvote

One cool morning, looking at the sky, I saw some clouds whose design is not very common. They looked like the sea when it is "chopped", although observing them more carefully I also found them similar to the figures that the fine sands of the dunes of Coro, in the state of Falcón, Venezuela, form when the breeze blows them. Actually the beauty of these clouds lies in the originality of their appearance, their shape.

The simplest cloud that we can contemplate is always a spectacle of art and beauty. These clouds that you can see do not have extraordinary shapes or colors out of the ordinary, but only the contrast between them (Like brushstrokes those that touch the mountains on the distant horizon and like cotton flakes these that are grouped closer) is already synonymous with beauty.

I want to participate this week with the photo of that little cloud that caught my attention for having a "cloud shape". Since childhood we look at the clouds and look for similarities with other things in their shape. Clouds that look like castles, clouds that look like animals, clouds that look like monsters... but this is "a cloud shaped like a cloud". I see it pretty, fluffy, exquisite, and it is the image that I put for your consideration this week. I hope you like it
