10. HIVE & STEEM Transfers to and from exchanges

This chart shows the difference between deposits and withdrawals on all exchanges. Transfers from one exchange to another are excluded. A negative number means more withdrawn than deposited.

Seems like the new accounts are growing nicely. Quite surprised by how many new accounts are created daily. Are most of them junk?spam accounts?
No :) I'm tracking those accounts and upvotes, probably will make a summary post in some time.
I have officially joined the group of people who have been censored from steemit...
Now I have to figure out the safest way to get the rest of my steem out and into hive
Same here.
You are not the only one:

Crazy, but welcome to the club :-D
I notice you are still voting for justyy, the theif, on steemit.
edit:
Yeah, I meant on his posts.
good job with the stats, they are very useful.
I'm not voting for justyy as a witness, but it could be that my voting bot on Steem votes on his posts. I don't vote manually anymore on Steem.
Huobi, no KYC :)
I think you are now part of a prestigious group. IMHO: @hivebuzz should have a special award for anyone who was censored.
Fortunately, Justin Sun doesn't have enough clout to make censorship hurt. Censorship by Google and Twitter hurts.
You will probably be able to get your funds out. Be thankful that you were not among the group of accounts seized as the ability to Hardfork opponents was Justin's only true power.

Huobi also has deposits open invitation code if you want qnn65
No KYC needed on either one!
For small amounts you can use the SteemEngine. Deposit Steem(p), trade for Hive(p), withdraw Hive(p). (2% cost roundtrip)
I thought I was special, now I know I am just in good company!

Here is a post to help with transfers:https://steemit.com/steem/@goldrooster/how-to-convert-steem-into-your-hive-wallet-in-6-easy-steps
Interesting stats. Very little engagement with posts on Steem. Even the Steemit posts don't get a huge amount. Losing the auto-vote services there has cut the votes a lot. It is not even worth us posting there to milk votes now. Most of us will be powered down on Steem in the next few weeks. Let's see how much value people think it has by then.
Hey Justin, I just want to say thanks for changing the power down to 4 weeks! I didn't think I'd be able to dump ANY of my steem before you f'ed everything up.
Thanks to you you I've recovered way more than expected.
AND got a much stronger community out of it!
You just may be the best thing that's happened to us since I signed up.
I would have been powered down soon anyway, but this speeds it up a little. Get your Steem before the value plummets. We need to do all we can to make Hive the more attractive platform.
I don't I know about you but I came to steem for its promise of censorship resistance. Yes with the recent chaos lots of stuff happened (is happening) but it (hive.blog) still seems to be the one place on the internet that IS ACTIVELY fighting for the freedom of speech.
So for better or worse I will stay here and continue to fight for free speech. I'm not promoting Hive as the answer to everything but it seems to be one of the last hold outs, so yaa.
This fight aint over till the boot (or knee) on my neck chokes out my last breath. And I start seeing anti freedom os speech.
Cough, gasp,gasp, gassssssssp, choke wheeeez........ .. .
Ya, sorry my reply was not exactly meant for you either.
I think what WE NEED TO DO is allow this place to be the "free speech" platform the WORLD needs right now and stop with this Dumpster fire shitfuckery.
Which is exactly what We (you and me) are doing right now.
I made a comment to your reply, you politely said (more or less) "I wasn't talking to you and your comment is off topic" and then restated your point. I commented back saying "ya, sorry" then I tried to address your point.
Im not familiar with whatsup incessant marketing but I do see a lot of "Our Dumpster fire smells better than yours" and a lot of "lets add flowers and a meditation rug and happysmellgood for everyone!"
Grow up people..
We (hive) got the worlds attention, now the only marketing HIVE needs to do is yell out to everyone "FREE SPEECH ZONE HERE!"
AND
WE (the users of hive) need to allow free speech and have real conversations instead of pissing contests .
IMO that's it, we (you, me, hive) don't need to do anything else. Just let everyone know that this is a place where free speech will be allowed and respected EVEN IF it's not agreed with.
If we follow that ONE rule, "Allow and respect free speech" hive will continue to grow. It will be unstoppable.
We (the hive community) have such an amazing tool at our disposal and we are using it to ....
Yup, I think splinterlands moving will show just how dead the blockchain is when most of the transactions are splinterlands ones. I think I have 3 weeks left on my powerdown. Only transactions on steem for me is withdrawals these days.
Not sure what services are actually left on steem now.
The Splinterlands move will mean Hive has far more transactions and active users than Steem. From what I can see people are just trying to get what rewards they can from Steem before it dies and there is very little social activity.
Last week @safetony has cross posted the statistics on Steem. This week his account was added to the block list. See for yourself:
https://steempeak.com/@safetony
This is bad.
Really bad!
Justin seems to hate statistics. He doesn't want you to see that his ship is sinking.
Thanks alot for the stats, its nice to put things in perspective.
Active accounts on Steem :D
:satisfaction:
It's all good! Everyone, just lean a little more to the left.
Steem is looking like a black hole... I wonder if it is Justin who's buying all those powerdowns, crazy.
Not all power downs will be sold right away. Some are from exchanges.
I think it's safe to say that HIVE will continue to dominate STEEM!
Nice!
The votes have a huge dump .... was looking forward to see how will steemauto effect it
Steem in Bittrex now!
No Deposits No Withdraw Active

Nice comparison. I'm able to see that the engagement is more on Hive in the form of comments compared to Steem.
A small suggestion. Next time can you please add an additional section to get the organic posts on Steem and Hive without cross-posting. I guess it should be possible to get that list with the help of the title comparison. (At least works 90%)
