Chasing someone is hard. What's harder is when you trail a flying insect, only to take a perfect photo.😂 I'm not supposed to join this contest because I did not find any at home or at school. Why? Hehehe; until one night, this, happen.
Anyway, thank you, @justinepark for creating this initiative.
While we were chatting, something flew around our balcony in the evening. I thought it was a small bird but, upon looking vividly, not a bird, it was a butterfly!
An Intruder or Not?
At the back of my mind lies a question. Why is it here? It looks like it has a problem. It keeps on flying with no landing place from our balcony to the inside of our house. It goes on and on around; until it alights on our sound box for about 10 seconds. Good thing I have the presence of mind and was able; to capture a photo. Then I told myself it was not an intruder; needs a place to stay.
Is it Saying Goodbye?
After spending some moments searching for where the insect was supposed to be it went outside heading to the balcony again, and just flying around; like finding help or anything.
Upon looking closely, I realized that its right wing had a hole and left-wing torn. It must have bumped somewhere else, got hurt, and couldn't find a place to rest and heal. When about to touch the hole, it flew on the ceiling and outside. I didn't have a chance to save it.
My Husband's Belief
My husband said that every time a butterfly came to our house, is a symbol of the soul of loved ones. Maybe other people have the same belief as his. As a wife, I have to respect his stand or opinion about something to prevent an argument. Hehehe
Thought to Ponder
I came to realize that insects are like people. We keep looking for answers to our questions, especially if we're in pain. And the best healing we can find is going to our safe place. Striving may be the best solution to survive, but we should not forget our purpose of existence. Why are we here? What can I do to lend help and mend other people's pain? How can I be kind no matter what?
Woooow! You have a beautiful visitor miss. We also have the same belief with your husband, that's why we don't even pick them from landing on somewhere so that they'll not be disturbed. Belief or not, it should not be trapped.
Thank you for this😊
You're welcome.☺️
