2022-11-11 - Friday - 12:22 AM - My Laptop Log.
Had to hard restart my 2021 ASUS laptop. I guess the reason being my special Hyperx mic was not turned off. When I go to suspend, there may be a bug. I say this because in the past this mic would stop my 2016 Yoga laptop from going to sleep. I am using a different laptop now but the same OS or almost the same exact version of Ubuntu Mate. So, it might be that it goes to sleep but gets stuck. Or it could be that it cannot sleep if there is not enough swap space. I have 32 GB of RAM. I might have been using say 25 GB of RAM and yet I only have about 20 GB of swap. Perhaps I would need as much swap as the amount of RAM I was using at the time I go to suspend. But then again, maybe I was only using around 15 GB of RAM. Not sure if it was a RAM Swap issue. I say the mic issue did it. That is my guess for now.
