My 2021 ASUS laptop crashed again. I migrated from my 2016 Yoga laptop to this 2021 ASUS laptop near the end of October of 2022. So, I got this 2021 laptop in 2021. I've experienced problems in 2021 an 2022. I've been using this laptop all the time or most of the time this month of November 2022. I've experience problems these past two months and also a few times the past two years as well on this 2021 laptop. I've talked about it. I wrote about it in my diary and logs. It may be CPU related. I think my CPU is AMD. I see nothing saying Intel. I think the GPU is integrated and not dedicated. Most laptop GPUs are integrated with the CPU meaning together on the same socket or unit. My problems may be related to those components, hardware. It may be related to the NVMe SSD hard drive. I'm using Ubuntu Mate 20.04, 64 bit. The Linux kernel is 5.15, MATE 1.24.0. My laptop is 64 bit. This time today after my computer froze with the audio loop on the YouTube video, I tried some commands. I typed Alt + SysRq + R. I tried different combinations of those three keys on the built-in keyboard. I decided not to take any chances on my wireless USB keyboard, I went directly to the keyboard on the laptop itself to type it in. I tried not just that code ending in R but also E, I, and B. I don't think these commands are case sensitive. I want to assume if nothing happens, then it must be SSD related meaning the SSD is stuck, frozen, crashed, or something. I hope the issues is more software and big related. If it is hardware, that may require fixing or replacing which can cost money for the new hard drives, CPU, computer, hardware, components, parts, etc. Drivers can be changed perhaps. My computer is using the Nvidia 470 for the GPU driver I think. But some people may have problems with that driver. So that might be an issue for me.
