When I read that the theme of this week contest #pobphotocontest was “pink”, I thought about the images to send. I did not want to send some obvious images related to this topic, as flowers or objects artificially painted in pink. I searched in my photo archive and I found these images of a sunset that the sky was colored pink (even though there were other colors).
All the images that I publish here were taken with few minutes of difference. I did not changed the colors during the edition,I kept the original colors. The photos were only lighted edited: I only adjusted the contrast, saturation, etc. Gimp was the software used for the edition of the images.
Cuando me enteré que el tema del concurso #pobphotocontest era “rosado”, pensé sobre qué fotos enviar. Ya que no quería participar con un motivo evidente como flores o algún objeto pintado de rosado, sino algo diferente. Por lo que busqué en mis archivos fotográficos. Y encontré estas imágenes de un atardecer el cual coloreó el cielo principalmente de rosado, aunque evidentemente hay otros colores.
Las fotos que envío fueron tomadas con pocos minutos de diferencia. En la edición no efectué ninguna variación cromática importante, mantuve los colores originales. Solo efectué una edición bastante leve: curvas, ajuste del contraste, saturación, etc. Toda los cambios se efectuaron en Gimp.
The photos of this post resemble abstract paintings and moreover they remind me the paintings of J.M.W. Turner. Unfortunately there were no ships at the moment when the photographs were taken, that could be used as foreground of the images. Notice in the lower right corner the light silhouette of the mountain known as “Cerro Moreno”, which can be seen more clearly behind some clouds, in the last image. They were taken with the camera of a Samsung Galaxy S20.
Las fotografías que publico hoy, parecen pinturas abstractas y por otro lado me recuerdan las pinturas de J.M.W. Turner, fueron tomadas en Antofagasta Chile. Lamentablemente no había para el momento un buque que pudiera servir de primer plano. Noten en la esquina inferior izquierda la silueta bastante leve (detrás de una capa de nubes) del “Cerro Moreno”, el cual se ve más claramente en la última imagen. La cámara usada fue la de un Samsung Galaxy S20.
