It seems I have never been here. Or it was a long time ago and I don't remember this place. Although I have driven nearby many of times... St. Anna's Church in Lviv is located in a noisy place between two streets that are always full of traffic. I can hear the hum of trams sitting here.
But it's good here, because it's warm, deserted and quiet, well, if you don't count the trams... But they don't bother me. On a rainy and cold day, I like to sit in the temple.
Anna's Church, if it weren't for these few icons, would look like a concert hall. There are not many religious buildings in the style of classicism in Lviv. And they did a nice renovation here, I like the moderate, golden-brown colors of the walls and icons. Everything is modest and harmonious.
Behind me, from time to time, I hear the footsteps of people who come to pray or just to see the sight.
And no matter how nice it is here, it's time for me to go.
Здається я ніколи тут не була. Або була дуже давно і не пам'ятаю цього місця. Хоча поряд проїжджала сотні разів... Церкви Анни у Львові знаходиться у галасному місці між двома вулицями, що завжди заповнені транспортом. Я чую гудіння трамваїв сидячи тут.
Але тут добре, бо тепло, безлюдно і тихо, ну якщо не рахувати трамваїв... Та вони не докучають. У дощовий і холодний день я люблю посидіти у храмі.
Церква Анни, якби не ця кілька ікон, була б схожа на якийсь концертний зал. У Львові не багато культових споруд у стилі класицизму. А ще тут зробили гарний ремонт, мені подобаються такі помірковані, золотисто-коричневі кольори стін та ікон. Все скромно і гармонійно.
Позаду час від часу чути кроки людей, які заходять помолитися або просто оглянути пам'ятку.
Час і мені рушати.
