Identify negative thinking patterns

in GEMS4 years ago

It's tricky to identify negative thinking patterns. More or less we all have some sort of negative thinking, no matter how much we try to skip them. But if we can understand the pattern, what triggers our negative thinking and what consequences it comes with; it will be easy to deal with. And especially when you are living in a certain environment where it's hard to find positivism around you.

What should be your combat plan?

The first thing we must do to make us feel better in any negative environment and situation is 'doing something good to us'. Know what makes you feel better, notice it and do it at the end of your bad days.

Believe that negativity is not powerful enough compared to your positive power. You can always choose something better for yourself. And negativity will go from you gradually.

Practice mindfulness and thankfulness in life. It works passively to focus more on positive sides of life. Also, it helps to understand life better and makes us more powerful to combat negativity.

But most importantly try to practice positivity in life. Otherwise, how can we combat negativity, right? Always focus on the positive sides of life. Even if you need to be a total nerd on this, like use pen and paper if necessary to point out what makes you feel bad or good, what can be done, what triggers your negative feel g and how can you practice positivity.

I know we can do it. We all have the power to do it. Just a little intentional effort and our positive intention can change our life for better. I hope it's gonna help you a little bit!
