Market Friday
A post for Market Friday hosted by @dswigle, if you haven't followed her yet you should she is one of the kindest and most supportive people here on Steemit, a comment from her is like a ray of sunshine on your page.
This is the one tag and daily challenge that I always make a point of joining, and also look through the posts of others that join the challenge and seeing markets from all around the world.
For this weeks post, I am going to share a few random shots that could be considered markets in one way or another around Downtown Milford where I live.
Starting by the train station there is this building, the Milford Arts Council or MAC as many call it they hos many things there, theatre productions music and photo exhibits and art shows etc etc, really adding some culture to our little city

And this is on the opposite side of the tracks on the side where trains head into NYC most days, I am not sure if it has other uses but its a little coffee shop and a waiting room where people can grab a coffee sandwich or snack and the daily paper while waiting for the train, in the summer months I didn't often go in there, but on an inch winter day I made good use of it popping in to stay warm while waiting for the train.

And this is not to far from the train station on the green, it used to be called Rainbow Gardens and served excellent food we went there a few times, recently they sold it and it is now called Founders House which we have not tried but I have heard good feedback, come the 20th restaurants can serve people outdoors and they have a small sitting area outdoors which I guess they can use.

I love market Friday. Nice collection of photos.
I've dislocated a finger, Besides a bit of pain, I have a problem typing in any normal sense. I've made this to copy/paste so I can at least let my peeps know that I'm reading. Sorry about this whole mess.
Ohh know sorry to hear that, Having done that a few times myself over the years and know how painful that can be

Some architecture students here in our country would love as subject the Founder's House. Very beautiful. As usual, great poster perfect photos. Enjoyed them very much.

I only drank water for the most part, but they sure did good business selling coffee :)
I like these houses, the red brick houses and also the white painted wooden houses - they look really good, especially in such nice weather with the blue sky above.

Good morning JJ,
it is still gray and rainy here, but maybe I'll drive somewhere in the afternoon ... if my car is back home by then, because my son stayed with his girlfriend over night. I have already asked him if I can have his room and use it as my photo studio. He only smiled ;) lol
My D's are online and now I'm waiting for your's ;)
BTW this weeks photo52 theme is "Blue" and I have an idea in mind :)

Here it is also rainy, but I don't mind either - my car is at home and I could drive anytime ;)
I'll have a look at your D post later - first I have to reply to some comments and then I'll have to go back to the bathroom, the only room where I'm still allowed to make water splash photography ;)

Thanks my friend my wife and OI got out for walk this morning on the beach first time for weeks and felt so good :)

Yeah man, and I bet that you guys really appreciated it. Almost like a new adventure lol.
Imagine not catching a subway and sitting behind a desk and the great difference that it makes by now walking on the beach in office hours.
Hope that you guys were wearing face masks JJ.At our age we cannot take any chances. Take care my friend!
Especially for my wife she hasnt been up to beach walks for a longtime but has got a new mindset these days that its time for her to control her illness and not let it control here and its working well for her, was her first beach walk for 8 years
Ohh yes we had face masks on for sure, the good think is if we get there early before say 10 AM hardly anyone is talking there but we will have our masks on, although when we were huge distances from anyone I did slip mine off for a minute to breath the fresh air, but kept them on for the most part
Hahaha, we share that as I slip mine off at every opportunity JJ.
It is criminal not to taste the sea air Lol.
Glad that your Lady took a walk after such a long time and we hope that she will continue, as it will hopefully blow a new determination into her.
She sounds like a fighter, although I have to say that these chronicle conditions even gets to me sometimes.
Please let her know that she is in our prayers.

I think she has finally got her mindset right to control her illness and enjoy life which is great since hopefully things will settle down before to long so we can think about moving

This life is all that we've got JJ and great to hear that she is starting to enjoy it.

It is fascinating how entrepreneurs are able to find spaces to set up businesses or to put to good use for the arts and culture... such as center divides, a tiny curb space in a 3-car spot on a parking lot. Thanks for sharing these photos!

I love the old train stations. They are smaller than they need to be, but, quaint in their own way. Connecticut still has a lot of theirs still standing (because of their proximity to NYC) and selling coffee and food to the commuters!
One of the coolest train stations here in Virginia is in Richmond, where it has a beautiful clock tower that you can see from the Interstate 95.
I love the old Victorian-ness of the Founders Restaurant. I bet it has a nice ambiance to it. I can't believe that Connecticut is ready for it! They opened some of Virginia except Northern Virginia, where I am. They decided to keep it shut down for a few more weeks. We will see how it goes. Thank you,truly for supporting the challenge!

Ohh yes i am glad I am not in charge, but like you I will decide what is right for me, I am going to get out for beach walks in the morning when It is quietlike we did yesterday but with mask on, and see how things develop but avoiding anywhere that may be busy for now

I'm not a good friend of English and that's why I understand about 80% when I read a blog. Of course I understand what is being said there but there are also words and expressions that I think I don't understand well and then I get angry with myself.
In all your blogs, as in those of @dswigle, it is enough to see the photos, I love your photos and I feel that I don't lose anything if I don't understand the whole text. Sometimes I don't even read, I admire the photos. Thanks!
