Hello everyone, how are you doing today? This is going to be Week 38, Edition 01 of our Weekly Featured Content.
So, last week Saturday we had the last hangout that was just so much fun we did not want it to come to an end. We are currently on our first topic for this week which is, “A TRUE STORY”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last one which was “THE GREATEST COMPLIMENT”. This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about the one time they got a compliment that really stuck with them and made them happy.
We got to see just how encouraging and motivating a compliment can be. And we also saw how important it was that we indulge in it as often as we can.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w37e3 tags. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. This author shared with us the different kinds of compliments she gets in different aspects of her life. And she let us know that they helped build her self-love and self-confidence, helping her to see herself in a better light. It was a great read, indeed.
GETTING PRAISE FROM LECTURERS by @mnurhiver
This author told us the story of how he had tried to win over the hearts of his thesis supervisors, he had gone out of his way to help them out and it had paid off. It had helped in his thesis and he had also been complimented in front of his peers. Talk about a double win.
WON SECOND PLACE by @rahmatandesti
For this author, he shared with us how he had represented his school in a competition and performed brilliantly and he came second. It didn’t matter that he didn't come first, it was still a win and it was celebrated by everyone around him. A truly remarkable moment.
