The softest of whispers into the night. The gentle breeze. The sudden stillness of my heart. The sweetest dreams come from days like this, as I am tenderly caressed by life.
It is quite amazing to walk through the meadows near my house. They are actually part of a Civil War Battlefield, laying peaceful. The wildflowers anxiously await their turn to bloom. One by one, the landscape is interrupted by a spot of beauty. But then, behold! So unique is she, that life will be simultaneous ranges of staging, budding, blooming and flowering, punctuated only for making new seeds. Queen Anne is quite the lady.

Let the spirit of love gently fill our hearts and homes. In this loveliest of seasons, may you find many reasons for happiness.
Summer Rocks!
The years are orchestrated by the sunsets of life, with joyful pieces of living in between.
Alas, I contemplate, the sunset connects with a deeper, conceivably more profound part of myself and this amazing world we live in! The hues of the surrounding sky make for an image that shines beauty on everything it touches, including my soul, oh, my soul! And I think to myself - what a wonderful world.

Beautiful words, and gorgeous flowers, @dswigle! That is amazing that you live near a Civil War battlefield, and that such beauty can emerge from such a sorrowful time.
It's amazing to think when you put it in that perspective. They still have all the canons out there on the fields and Graves said we're done for the men left behind. The houses that were there at the time where salvaged and saved. So, for me there is peace in that place and yet I cannot help but think of what came before the peace. How often we sit and long for quiet moments, when they are upon us we tend to forget the fragrance far too soon. What lovely poetry spelling out feelings stirred up when dwelling on gorgeous flowers laid out before your very eyes.
With the sunset giving a rounded feeling of wellness at end of another day, one can rejoice only in this fleeting time surrounded by flowers, yes life is good!

It's so true, especially for over here that it is fleeting for our flowers. Although, I live Mid Country on the shore so I probably get flower time than most. I like the fact that we get spring summer and fall flowers which I love the fact that there is a seasonal change even in the flowers. Many places just have exotic warm flowers but we get the Deep use of fall into winter and then the brightness of spring. It's a lovely life that we live oh, and I for one and grateful to be part of it. I hope you are having a most wonderful day.

Your flowers are always so beautiful where do you find so many pretty flowers that first flower in amazing have not seen one of those before like little red Christmas balls 😊
Thank you so much and to be honest with you, where I live in the United States has three seasons of flowers and so it is easy to take them all while they're blooming and play them most of the season. The flower that you are looking at it's not open which is why it appears to be a Christmas ball. I will get you a picture of it often in a little bit. They are called fuchsia and come in the purple and pink variety and also in a pink and white. I actually prefer the purple and pink because it's brighter and bolder.

The one that you are thinking of it is green he's actually called Queen Anne's Lace. In actuality, when it is fully bloomed it is very white but it is still has a little bit of growing to do.
Most of the beautiful sunsets that I have ever seen are over the water. For some reason around here the water makes them incredibly beautiful. So thank you for your kind and generous words. Queen Anne's Lace is beautiful. Even the name denotes royalty! Hahaha! I haven't heard that name before, so there's no such a flower in here, I guess. So, thank you for sharing the beauties there! 😍 And your photography skills just make it a little more appealing!
Yes, sunsets are its best with water reflection. I wish we live in an area where we can see both. Sadly, we live near a mountain that covers the sunset. We only see a glimpse of it. And imagine how beautiful the real thing is! Hahaha! 😂

I don't think I ever wore shoes when I was a kid because I love the feel of bare feet, much to my mother's Chagrin. She wanted all the kids to wear shoes so that we would not step on anything and injure ourselves.
