Single Prompt Option - The Weekend Freewrite - 3/18/2023

The Weekend Freewrite is a bit different from the Daily Single Prompt. It gives you a chance to catch up.

If you wrote every day, good on you! Now try a different take on a prompt or try to bring all of them into one freewrite. Play and have fun!

Or you can use one of the Three Prompts from the other weekend freewrite and use that as your prompt.

If all fails, go back to the latest pre-1000 day Weekend prompt and find something to your liking.

    Today again I saw an ad for an expensive purse, one of the Prada brand. On this occasion it was a contact on Facebook who commented on his experience when acquiring this piece. It was a video, one of these young women who put on excessive makeup and who through their social networks show us the life they lead. A "supposed life", because in truth reality is very far from what they show. I know the person and I know that he currently lives in a cardboard house, in a marginal area that is 2 kilometers from where I live, where he has no sewage service, there is no septic tank and the floor of his home is dirt. The clothes she wears are borrowed from an aunt, the cell phone she has was given to her by a criminal who is her partner (so it was probably stolen), and the bag she shows in her video is the product of a robbery (she herself says in the video), this is the mentality of these new generations. Empty and they live on an appearance, they want to make themselves look glamorous and successful, when their truth is exclusively another, and very forceful.



    They live in poverty, especially mental.

    And no matter how expensive purses they show, they will never be able to buy what they need: intelligence.

    This is my 5 minute rant for today.
