Greetings friends! Welcome once again to my blog, this time I invite you to take a nice tour through the wonderful Parque del Este in Caracas. Join me!
During the days I was visiting the capital of Venezuela, leaving aside the stress of the paperwork I had to do, I was able to go with my family to visit the Parque del Este.
We took a cab after leaving the documents and paperwork, and to forget the stress we went to the park. It was a very relaxing moment for me. Being able to enjoy nature and family moments helped me to release the tension and I really liked it.
The park of more than 60 hectares, impossible to walk in the same day, has a reserve that houses some animals autochthonous to Venezuela.
For us it was amazing to see these species that we have only seen in pictures and videos. One of these interesting species is the Perro de agua is related to the otter and we were able to see how it swam and enjoyed the water.

We were also able to see a huge Jaguar, imposing and full of life. I really liked the habitat of the coastal alligator I had never seen an alligator up close, it was very calm.
The turtles and the baboons were my favorites. Then we went to the Aviary, we could see some beautiful species with colorful plumage and beautiful singing. To be honest I don't like to see animals in captivity, there is a sadness in the atmosphere and that sadness increased when I saw the macaws dropping their plumage, possibly tearing it off themselves due to stress. I really felt bad for these birds, I like to see them free, fluttering all over the place, like some turpipers that came to visit the parrots.
The park is well structured, it has several artificial lagoons that serve as habitat for some species and of course the monument to the ship of Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda. This beautiful ship is a place where visitors can access and feel the thrill of getting on a boat. Unfortunately this day it was closed for maintenance and we could only see it from up close.
In the lagoon where the boat is located, you have some small boats that are propelled by bicycle type pedals, they have capacity for 2 people who can take a ride on the entire lagoon. This recreational attraction is not working either, but we could see the boats on the dock.

Exhausted from all the walking, we arrived at the cafe. My daughter fell asleep and my husband and I ordered a coffee with delicious pastries. Then we returned home with memories of a wonderful family experience. If you are in Caracas you can't miss this beautiful urban park with free admission.
We missed many places to visit, such as the acoustic shell, the Humboldt planetarium and the serpentarium. We hope in a next opportunity to reach all these areas of the park as they are of interest to the whole family.

Visitando el Parque del Este en Caracas
Saludos amigos! Sean bienvenidos una vez a mi blog, en esta oportunidad los invito a dar un bonito recorrido por el maravilloso Parque del Este en Caracas. Acompáñenme!
Es los días que estuve de visita por la capital de Venezuela, dejando a un lado el estres de los trámites que fui a realizar, pude ir con mi familia a visitar el Parque del Este.
Tomamos un taxi después de salir de los documentos y trámites, y para olvidar el estres fuimos al parque. Fue un momento muy relajante para mi. Poder disfrutar de la naturaleza y de los momentos en familia me ayudó a liberar la tensión y me gustó mucho.
El parque de más de 60 hectáreas, imposible de recorrer en mismo día, cuenta con una reserva que alberga algunos animales autoctonos de Venezuela.
Para nosotros fue asombroso ver estas especias que solamente hemos visto en fotografías y vídeos. Una de estas especies interesantes es el Perro de agua es familia de la nutria y pudimos ver como nadaba y disfrutaba del agua.

También pudimos ver un enorme Jaguar, imponente y lleno de vida. Me gustó mucho el hábitat del caimán de la costa nunca había visto de cerca a un caimán, estaba muy tranquilo.
Las tortugas y los babos, fueron de mis favoritos. Luego fuimos al Aviario, pudimos ver unas especies hermosas con un plumaje colorido y un canto precioso. Para ser honesta no me gusta ver a los animales en cautiverio, se siente una tristeza en el ambiente y esa tristeza se incrementó a ver a las guacamayas que soltando el plumaje, posiblemente se lo arrancan ellas mismas por estrés. Realmente me sentí mal por estas aves, me gusta verlas libres, revoloteando por todos lados, como unos turpiales que venían a visitar a los loros.

El parque está bien estructurado, tiene varias lagunas artificiales que sirven de hábitat a algunas especies y por supuesto el monumento al buque del generalísimo Francisco de Miranda. Esta bonita embarcación es un lugar al que los visitantes pueden acceder y sentir la emoción de subirse a un barco. Lamentablemente este día estaba cerrado por mantenimiento y solamente pudimos verlo desde cerca.
En la laguna donde se encuentra la embarcación, tienes unos pequeños botes que se impulsan con pedales tipo bicicleta, tienen capacidad para 2 personas que pueden dar un paseo en toda la laguna. Esta atracción recreativa tampoco esta funcionando, pero pudimos ver los botes en el muelle.
Agotados de tanto caminar, llegamos la cafetín. Mi hija se quedó dormida y mi esposo y yo pedimos un café con pastelitos deliciosos. Luego regresamos a casa con recuerdos de una maravillosa experiencia familiar. Si pasan por Caracas no pueden dejar de visitar este hermoso parque urbano con entrada gratuita.
Nos faltaron muchos lugares por recorrer, como la concha acustica, el planetario Humboldt y el serpentario. Esperamos en una próxima oportunidad poder llegar a todos estos espacios del parque ya que son de interes para toda la familia.

Concuerdo contigo no me gusta ver los animales en cautiverio da mucha tristeza ver algunos animales solos encerrados por mas apropiado que sea el espacio están condenados a un espacio limitante fuera de su hábitat, el parque del Este es muy hermoso construido em el año 1961 con un concepto muy moderno para la epoca, muchas veces los caraqueños olvidamos lo agradable que es recorrerlo, te aseguro que cuando puedas ir al Humboldt y visitar Galipán también te va a encantar.
