Update Oct 2020
This is going to be a long update post since our last one was so long ago on Oct 2020 and we have so much to look back. This community was created by me (@victoriabsb) on May 8th as a celebration of Mother’s Day, we really didn’t get any real activity until september 2020.
We are so happy to have grown so much in so little time and also to see our community slowly fill up with so many awesome posts from moms and not moms too! cause this community is open to all as long as the posts are Motherhood/Fatherhood/Parenthood related content.
Currently we have 446 Subscribers
- We now have awesome weekly and daily Challenges to help coming up with themes to post and keep the activity on the community going.
- We have the support of a bunch of awesome curators that we are very grateful always stop by our community and give some love to our members curating the posts that are of quality.
- We have a special badge for moms that are active on the community thanks to the guys from PeakD.
- Every Post that is created in our community is as always tweeted automatically on our Twitter account and shared on our Facebook account giving the author and Hive exposure on other social media.
- We have a weekly curation activity on the discord of PALNet for moms every Saturday.
- We have a pretty awesome advice column from a special Grandma that comes out weekly.
- We have a curation account to keep the curated content tab with the best of the best from our community
- Thanks to @peakd and @reazuliqbal we now have a community chat too!
- We have Suggested topics/tags!

Este sera post largo, ya que nuestro ultimo update fue hace tanto tiempo en Oct 2020, y tenemos mucho de que hablar, esta comunidad fue creada el 8 de mayo como una celebración del día de la madre, pero realmente no tuvimos ninguna actividad hasta septiembre 2020.
¡Estamos muy felices de haber crecido tanto en tan poco tiempo y de ver que nuestra comunidad se llena lentamente con tantos posts increíbles, esta Motherhood está abierta a todos siempre que los posts estén relacionados con la maternidad/paternidad/familia todos son bienvenidos.
¡Actualmente tenemos 446 Suscriptores
- Ahora tenemos divertidos challenges semanales y diarios para ayudar a crear temas que publicar y mantener la actividad en la comunidad.
- Contamos con el apoyo varios curadores increíbles con los que estamos muy agradecidos, siempre pasan por nuestra comunidad y les dan un poco de amor a nuestros miembros con la curación de los posts que son de calidad.
- Tenemos una insignia especial para las mamás activas en la comunidad gracias a los chicos de PeakD.
- Cada post hecho en nuestra comunidad como siempre va automáticamente en nuestro Twitter y se comparte en nuestro Facebook, lo que le da al autor y a Hive exposición en otras redes sociales.
- Tenemos una actividad de curacion semanal en PALNet para mamás todos los sábados.
- Tenemos una maravillosa columna de consejos de una abuela muy especial que sale semanalmente.
- Tenemos una cuenta de curacion para mantener la pestaña de contenido curado con lo mejor de lo mejor de nuestra comunidad
- Gracias a Peakd y reazuliqbal ahora tambien tenemos el chat de la comunidad

Weekly & Daily Challenges | Desafíos Diarios y Semanales
Our weekly and daily challenges themes are often suggested by our moms on our discord server we are trying to go through the different stages of our kids but are always open to different ideas.
To be part you have to make a post in our community about the theme of the week that you can usually find pinned on the community page or on our official account @motherhood profile, use the tags #Motherhood and #MotherhoodOnHive and shared it on any social media you want. that is, it as easy as that.
Los temas a menudo son sugeridos por nuestras mamás en nuestro discord. Estamos tratando de pasar por las diferentes etapas de nuestros hijos, pero siempre estamos abiertas a diferentes ideas.
Para participar solo tienes que hacer un post en nuestra comunidad sobre el tema de la semana que normalmente puedes encontrar anclado en la página de la comunidad o en nuestra cuenta oficial @motherhood, usa las etiquetas #Motherhood y #MotherhoodOnHive y compártelo en cualquier red social que desees. así de fácil.

The daily challenges are our version of the #BloggingChallenge we are currenlty on week 20 and are not restrictive so you can start with any week and do any suggested topic for the day you want, here you can see all the weeks so far

Since we created the Motherhood on Hive Social Media Accounts for Twitter and Facebook, we have been constantly posting our mommas blog posts in them, we're using https://ifttt.com/ for the automation of the posting into Facebook and Twitter.

Live Curations | Curaciones en vivo
We have a live curation every Saturday on PALNet Discord Server for all the moms that have participate during the week on the community, currently since most of the active moms are spanish speakers the hosts of the weekly show are @elizabeths14 and @marybellrg, if we manage to get more English speakers active, we will add an English version of this.
Todos los sábados tenemos una curación en vivo en el Servidor de Discord de PALNetpara todas las mamás que participaron durante la semana en la comunidad. Actualmente nuestras hosts son @elizabeths14 y @marybellrg, siempre estan trayendo sorpresas como invitados musicales y cualquier otra locura que se les ocurra asi que participen.

Curated Content Tab | Pestaña de contenido curado

@Motherhood-Love is an account for curation only purposes, as you may have seen on the from the @peakd team, they added an update to the community pages with a new tab call curated content and we as always will take full advantage of this new feature, that is why we made this account!
We try to always support all the mommas and no mommas that post on our community to do that we use our main account @Motherhood so we always try to upvote each and every single one of the posts made on the community but we want this new tab to be fill with the best content that is why we will be curating only the best with this account. We will try to focus on content made on our community but we will be also on the lookout for amazing content made by moms on other communities!
The curated content tab will be our landing page when going to the community through peakd.com so, this will be what every visitor will see first, you can choose to go to the post tab to see the rest of the content from our comunnity.
@Motherhood-Love, es una cuenta solo para fines de curación, el equipo de peakd, agregaron una actualización a las páginas de las comunidades con una nueva pestaña llamada contenido curado y como siempre, aprovecharemos al máximo esta nueva función, por eso esta cuenta!
Tratamos de apoyar a todas las mamás y no mamás que publican en nuestra comunidad, y por eso usamos nuestra cuenta @Motherhood, por lo que siempre intentamos votar todos los posts realizadas en la comunidad, pero queremos esta nueva pestaña esté llena del mejor contenido, por eso seleccionaremos solo lo mejor con esta cuenta. Intentaremos enfocarnos en el contenido en nuestra comunidad, ¡pero también estaremos atentas al contenido creado por mamás en otras comunidades!
La pestaña de contenido curado sera nuestra pagina principal cuando naveguen la comunidad desde peakd, asi que sera lo que todos los visitantes vean primero y pueden luego decidir ir a la pestaña de posts para ver el resto del contenido de la comunidad.

Community Chat | Chat de la comunidad
BeeChat Channel: Motherhood
Ok so, this is a new feature by the peakd and beechat team, is the ability to create a community chat channel, as you can see it was added as a tab on the community page and all you have to do is go to the chat on the community and subscribe to it by clicking on the star next to the channel name, this will allow you to have the channel in your list of channels on https://peakd.com/chat.
Keep in mind this is a new system and is in alpha still so it will continue to improve, but for now is pretty basic. Chat only lasts 90 days then all messages are deleted, and is not encrypted so keep this in mind and do not share private info through it.
Esta es una nueva característica que el equipo de Peakd y Beechat han implementado, es la capacidad de crear un canal de chat comunitario, como puede ver, se agregó como una pestaña en la página de la comunidad y todo lo que tiene que hacer es ir al chat. en la comunidad y suscríbete haciendo clic en la estrella junto al nombre del canal, esto te permitirá tener el canal en tu lista de canales en https://peakd.com/chat.
Tenga en cuenta que este es un sistema nuevo y aún está en alfa, por lo que continuará mejorando, pero por ahora es bastante básico.
El chat solo dura 90 días, luego todos los mensajes se eliminan y no están encriptados, así que tenga esto en cuenta y no comparta información privada a través de él.
Preferred topics/tags | Temas/Tags preferidas de la comunidad
This is another new feature brough by the amazing team of peakd, it will help users to better classify their posts and discover easily the type of content they are looking for. It should help when making a new post on our community to use the correct tags and to know what type of content is allow in our community.
Peakd only allows us to suggest 10 tags for now, so we went with the more general ones but any other tag/topic that relates to these ones is ok to use too. As well as the tribe tags like #palnet, #leaofinance, etc.
Esta es otra nueva característica que nos trae el increíble equipo de Peakd, ayudará a los usuarios a clasificar mejor sus posts y descubrir fácilmente el contenido. Al hacer una nueva publicación en nuestra comunidad, sera útil tener las etiquetas correctas y saber qué tipo de contenido está permitido en nuestra comunidad.
Peakd solo nos permite sugerir 10 etiquetas por ahora, por lo que optamos por las más generales, pero cualquier otra etiqueta/tema que se relacione con estas también estan permitidas. Además de las etiquetas de tribu como #palnet, #leofinance, etc.

Hi! And welcome to our community! You can do whatever you want with the daily challenges pick and choose the topic you want to do it doesnt have to be a particular secuence the topics are just sugestions for moms to use in their posts.
The weekly one you can do too bit to qualify for the prize of the week you do have to do the one that is active this week (the weekly ones are the only ones with prizes, the daily ones are more of a set of topics suggested)
