Love is one of the most amazing things I love to talk about, because I am a product of love, so today I'll be sharing my experience of love, but firstly what is love.
what Is love ?
The word called love for me can be expressed in diverse ways for example
in friendships/Relationships
Love is more practicable than theoritical, it's an acton doing word, it's a verb action speaks louder than words.
Love boils down to so many things many might say Love is difficult to practice, walking in love especially in recent times when so many persons don't reciprocate the love that's been showed to them. it's quite true that most persons don't know how to reciprocate love yes it's very true but I Ebi Gift Priye over the years I've looked at the bible definition of love rather than the worldly definition of love and I've come to realize, love is best described, analyised, best explained by God's word.
so you might be wondering what the difference is,in our world today love is best seen and explained to be an uncountable Strong affection.
A profound and caring affection towards someone.
Affectionate, benevolent concern or care for other people or beings, and for their well-being. this is quite interesting and Nice. The bible goes beyond love being just an affection but a way of life here's it
1 Corinthians 13:4-7,10
[4]Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud
[5]or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.
[6]It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.
[7]Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstances.
How wonderful this is it's letting I and you know that as we have found ourselves in this world full of impatience, strife, envy, jealous and selfishness the only way to standout and make a difference is by walking in love irrespective of how others treat you, respond to you, weather they reciprocate or not. YOUchoose the love way, Not everyone might speak right of you, many might criticize your personality, your character, your actions be it right or wrong, but the thing is how do you respond to them, that's what is important, sometimes thoughts might come to you like.
bitterness for bitterness
hatred for hatred
wickedness for wickedness
criticism for criticism
an eye for an eye
a tooth for a tooth
payback time and all of that.
yes! some of these thoughts come to my mind especially when am offended by something or someone but dear it's your choice to stay at the high level of love where you just keep loving and loving, irrespective of the anger and frustration, you make up your mind to choose to forgive and walk away, no matter how upset you are at that particular person you just make up your mind to overlook the wrong that was done to you. because love is selfless, patience, endures, love is kind, keeps no record of wrong, to walk in love sometimes might look stupid but it's the highest level of wisdom, Love can heal and help your mental, physically and spiritual health too.
Romans 12:9-10,16-17,21 says
[9]Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.
[10]Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.
[16]Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!
[17]Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable.

[21]Don’t let evil conquer you,but conquer evil by doing good.

I was blessed by this, it no character to love someone that reciprocate your kind gesture.. it takes real character to love the unlovable, be kind to the ungrateful.. but at the same they have limits so we do not get overly drained..
