¡Hola a toda la comunidad de Hive!, Este es mi tercer post en el análisis de las obras de Jordan Peele. Aquí puedes ver la primera parte Link donde analizo y doy mis opiniones acerca de Get Out, y por acá tienes la segunda parte donde analizo Us Link este post contiene spoilers de la película. En esta ocasión es hora de analizar su última película, y de esta manera al final del post daré un puntaje para personalmente nombrar mi top 3 de esta película. Nope, la ha sido la única de las 3 la cual he podido tener la oportunidad de ver en cines, y fué una experiencia increíble, así que definitivamente será un placer realizar una reseña de esta Joya, la cual por lo que he podido observar en redes, fué todo un debate, no existía un intermedio, dónde puedes odiarla o amarla, y mi teoría es que esto se debe a que la gente pudo haberse hecho muchas expectativas, sabiendo su historial como actor y que las películas antecesoras fueron increíbles, pudo haber contribuido a qué las personas se hicieran con muchas ideas y tal vez no los convenció. Por eso soy de esas personas quienes no ver los trailers sino el producto final y como tal.

this post contains spoilers of the movie. This time it's time to analyze his last movie, and this way at the end of the post I will give a score to personally name my top 3 of this movie. Nope, it has been the only one of the 3 which I have had the opportunity to see in theaters, and it was an incredible experience, so it will definitely be a pleasure to review this jewel, which from what I have seen in networks, it was a debate, there was no in-between, where you can hate it or love it, and my theory is that this is because people may have had a lot of expectations, knowing his track record as an actor and that the previous movies were incredible, it may have contributed to people having a lot of ideas and maybe it didn't convince them. That's why I'm one of those people who don't watch the trailers but the final product and as such.
Nope
Nuevamente teniendo a Daniel Kaluuya cómo actor principal, ya había hecho un excelente trabajo en Get Out, y esta vez no ha decepcionado. La película de Nope se basa en dos hermanos Oj Haywood y Emerald Haywood quienes quedaron a cargo del negocio de su padre, un rancho que se dedica a cuidar caballos, quienes son usados por empresas para hacer sus películas, un rol que han ocupado por generaciones de familia. Poco después de ello descubren una especie de OVNI, y creen que si pudiesen captar una buena foto o video de este fenómeno obtendrían un boleto al éxito, y mientras más van investigando a este Objeto volador se dan cuenta que en realidad es una criatura, la cual succionará lo que sea para defender su territorio.
Again with Daniel Kaluuya as the lead actor, he had already done an excellent job in Get Out, and this time he has not disappointed. Nope's film is based on two brothers Oj Haywood and Emerald Haywood who are left in charge of their father's business, a ranch that takes care of horses, who are used by companies to make their movies, a role they have occupied for generations of family. Shortly after that they discover a kind of UFO, and believe that if they could capture a good photo or video of this phenomenon they would get a ticket to success, and the more they investigate this flying object they realize that it is actually a creature, which will suck whatever it takes to defend its territory.
Escena que más me gustó.
Creo que esto definitivamente coincidimos todos, y es que la escena del mono fué increíblemente impactante, y más si eres como yo que investiga las películas luego de verlas, y se dió cuenta que esta escena estuvo inspirada en un hecho real. Una escena que te pone en un estado de ansiedad y tensión, y que al final termina con un fuerte disparo que sin duda alguna hizo saltar de la silla a muchos. Escena que como recurso narrativo me hubiese gustado que fuese más aprovechada esa trama, y no solo dejarla para enseñar que si miras a animales en un estado de estrés extrema puede ser perjudicial, y que luego esta técnica sería aprovechada por los hermanos Haywood, para que esta criatura no se los comiera.
I think we all definitely agree on this, and the monkey scene was incredibly shocking, especially if you are like me who researches the movies after watching them, and realized that this scene was inspired by a real event. A scene that puts you in a state of anxiety and tension, and at the end ends with a strong shot that undoubtedly made many people jump out of their chairs. Scene that as a narrative resource I would have liked to have taken more advantage of this plot, and not just leave it to teach that if you look at animals in a state of extreme stress can be harmful, and then this technique would be used by the Haywood brothers, so that this creature would not eat them.
Efectos especiales.
Su apartado visual es un deleite, sin duda de las 3 obras esta ha sido más ambisiosa, y durante las 3 películas se ha visto el incremento visionario de este director, y que ha ido de menos a más, sus escenarios, y cada escena en la que vemos a la criatura volando es otro nivel, y que en cuanto a efectos esta tiene el primer puesto.
Its visual section is a delight, undoubtedly of the 3 works this has been more ambitious, and during the 3 films we have seen the visionary increase of this director, and that has gone from less to more, their scenarios, and each scene in which we see the creature flying is another level, and that in terms of effects this has the first place.
Entretenida.
En ningún momento de la película llegué a aburrirme aunque ya en las escenas finales puedes deducir qué sucedería al final, cosa que no me había sucedido con Get Out y Us. Durante la primera mitad es una película de suspenso y terror psicólogico, y la otra mitad terminar siendo una película de acción con un toque western, una mezcla bastante peculiar, pero es una historia bien contada y está muy bien escrita, por lo que la hace especial a su modo.
At no point in the movie did I get bored, although in the final scenes you can already deduce what would happen at the end, something that had not happened to me with Get Out and Us. During the first half it is a suspense and psychological horror movie, and the other half ends up being an action movie with a western touch, a quite peculiar mix, but it is a well told story and it is very well written, which makes it special in its own way.
Cosas que no me gustaron.
Como mencioné anteriormente en varios puntos, llega un punto dónde se vuelve un tanto predecible, y hubieron cosas que se pudieron aprovechar de mejor manera, sin embargo no deja de ser una muy buena película, y que visualmente es clase aparte.
As I mentioned earlier in several points, there comes a point where it becomes somewhat predictable, and there were things that could have been done better, but it is still a very good film, and visually it is in a class of its own.

Finalmente y habiendo contado los puntos, Get Out queda de primera en mi top, y habiendo un empate entre Us y Nope, tendré que elegir de segunda a Us, ya que Nope al llegar a ser un tanto predecible, le resta un poco el mérito, por lo que mi top final es:

Totalmente de acuerdo con tu top, para mi Get Out es la mejor de esa trilogía aunque las tres sean bastante buenas. Por lo menos en esta todo lo que tiene que ver con los efectos visuales es de las cosas más top que podemos apreciar, se disfrutan mucho. Y bueno toda esa "tensión" del no saber que es lo que realmente hay allá fuera está super presente, juagan muy bien con eso, de hecho fue lo que me enganchó y me mantuvo medio alerta. Jordan Peele sabe lo que hace, es un director revelación para mi.

Totalmente de acuerdo, de hecho me faltó mencionar eso en el post, lo que creo que también mantiene en incógnita y hace que el espectador se cuestione es, qué otras criaturas hay allá afuera que aún no han sido descubiertas, por allí leí que Jordan Peele planea hacer un universo de películas con ese estilo de criaturas, ¡Saludos!
