It's been a busy month or so for me as I've moved house and started a new job. My time on Steem has been reduced and although I've been reading (40/50 mins on the bus each day for a start), I've produced less content than in the past, and it shows.

My rewards from posting last month are less than half of what they were in September, which is fair enough as my post count has also reduced by not far from that percentage. December however showed my best ever haul in curation rewards, and that's likely due to the 9000 SP (mostly) bought over the past month. Still, the 100 SP extra earned there in December compared with November doesn't make up for the drop in author rewards. I wonder if I can pick up the pace a little in January.

The Tribe tokens and Splinterlands cards continue to be a solid source of income. As last month, I've been selling a fair amount of SPORTS tokens, but also chose to offload some monster cards that were sitting around gathering dust (and value). I could have chosen to try to rent these cards out, but went this route specifically to boost SP while I believe the price of STEEM to be low.

Thus far, I've powered up almost all other Tribe tokens. It's great to have a stake that can impact the value of a post but I'm wondering now if I should start selling some of earnings coming in each day. We shall see.

Let me know in the comments if you would like a report for December 2019 and/or a CR chart for this year.

Wishing you an awesome 2020!

Asher

Here are the your SPORTS rewards for Decemember if you are interested. Last month you have earned around 904000 Sports curation rewards and 452000 Sports author rewards. That is almost as much as your Steem curation rewards in Sports rewards :) output.png output.png

Thanks for this Toni, great information!

Looks like I need to up my posting on SPORTS!

Is it easy for you to pull the rewards for curation on STEM?

Β 4 years agoΒ (edited)Β

I can do all tribe token rewars fairly easily. What do you want to see? 3702 STEM in last 30 days and 15998 STEM all time *Edit its not all the but the furtherst I can go back. You can get all the information with this api http://scot-api.steem-engine.com/get_account_history?account=abh12345.stem&token=STEM&offset=0 if you have some way to download it.

Thank you very much, I’ll check into it more when I’m at my PC. I have a feeling STEM is bringing the most profit in.

Just looking at the int_amount and presuming this is the reward?

Also take a look at this https://steempeak.com/scotbot/@holger80/scotbot-get-account-history-api-endpoint. Here is an example for rewards of the last 7 days in Python.

I think the api will do as long as I can work our how the rewards are displayed. I would expect curation reward to be 1-20 for a STEM post but the number that I think is the reward is much larger.

Oh yes i didnt read the last part int_amount is the reward but you have to devide it by 10^precision so 10^6 for STEM. For example 10722088/10^6=10.722088

I used this :)

DECLARE @json NVARCHAR(MAX)
SET @json = N'JSON HERE'

SELECT * FROM
OPENJSON ( @json )
WITH (
Timestamp varchar(200) '$.timestamp',
Curator varchar(200) '$.curator',
Author varchar(200) '$.author',
Amount int '$.int_amount',
Precision int '$.precision'
)

Then a little fiddling in excel.

Thanks for the link and encouragement :)

I am glad you got it to work :) Have you seen that you can also get ["curation_reward", "author_reward", "staking_reward", "mining_reward", "comment_benefactor_reward"]. That may be interesting if for example you have any miners.

@tonimontana sorry if i am wrong place to reply.can i connect with you in discord or any other social media ?

Sell, sell before the smeets come!!

I have heard this from others, but what if they just tootle over to an SMT and the price remains intact and then baboooms?

Β 4 years agoΒ (edited)Β

Well, that is always a possibility... doubt it tho

I would keep the stake just sell the earnings :0)

I am torn and like stacking, but perhaps you are correct. Half stake/half sell? :)

That sounds like a reasonable compromise,!!

I always want a report for whatever I can get.

I think it is wise to take a split approach for the tokens. I don't think people realise how much value you are distributing daily.

Yes, Please. I always enjoy seeing the change month to month.

Alright then :)

Cheers!

I'm still just kinda flailing around with the tokens, but I managed to withdraw about 100 Steem from my Steem Engine wallet today to bump up my #SPUD power up, so I must be doing something right. Of course, not nearly as right as you! 😊

Here's to hoping you're able to post more this month (which is something I'm shooting for as well).

And yes to a report & a CR chart, please and thank you.

Happy New Year, Asher! πŸŽ‰

🎁 Hi @abh12345! You have received 0.1 STEEM tip from @traciyork!

Sending tips with @tipU - how to guide.

Yes, I of course would like a report. You may have had a drop in December content creation, but looks like you ended on a high note, and are continuing to create and help others. A busy few days off catching up.

I've been buying where I can with hope for multiple on the current price again in the future. Fingers crossed!

Really picked up since the hard fork!

Lol @ "Ahh, more customers!"

Thanks Asher. Yeah, HF seemed to open the flood gates for me...I've been feeling a little annoyed lately though (you probably know why) however T-dog gave me a stern talking to last night and I should be ok from here...For a while at least. I just don't like certain shenanigans here and, well, I don't value idiocy or those who engage in it, no matter how uninformed or obstinate they may be. Still, I just gotta push on I guess.

Thanks for the report.

Fair enough. Yes I have an idea and understand. Hopefully this time will pass and be looked back on as necessary to build a brighter future.

No worries :)

Yeah, I get it. They're sort of like annoying mosquito's that are redundant but don't know their time is over yet.
