It’s okay to power up anytime or day of the month but I think it’s unique to power up on the first of every month because it’s a tradition on Hive, so see it as upholding the wonderful tradition of the Hive ecosystem😃😃

#HPUD is a very special day on the blockchain, it’s a day when Hiveans give back to the ecosystem, I have been keeping up with this tradition for months now and I pray I don’t stop any time soon.
I powered up 25 Hive and I am so excited because I just Hit 500HP a few days ago, my joy knows no bounds, now I understand when people get overly excited when they hit 1K, 2K 5K HP the feeling is different, putting in the work and seeing the result has to be another form of fulfillment. My one-year anniversary is fast approaching and I want to hit 1k HP before then, so help me God😃😃
Hive has been a school to me these past few months, a school where I keep showing up and continue to learn different subjects from great Hiveans on the blockchain, I have learnt a lot on Hive.
Hive is the closest I have been to cryptocurrency, from consuming different finance posts about crypto and the rest I have been able to understand how it works to an extent, and the fact that I now use some crypto terminologies while talking to my friends and seeing the shock on their faces whenever I do that makes me so proud of myself😂😂 before now I didn’t know jack about crypto but here I am learning the ropes and representing Hive in a good light off-chain hehehehe.
In July, I was able to onboard two people for the first time, they are my first Hive students, has it been going well? Yes sometimes but other times I just want to leave them alone as it gets a bit overwhelming since I teach them simultaneously and virtually but the rewarding thing is that they tend to pick up everything so fast and this makes me a proud teacher and an onboarder, hehehehe I finally get to be called an onboarder🥰🥰🥰 Teaching this newbies has made me appreciate other onboarders as well, Hiveans going out of their way to make sure so many newbies understand the blockchain and following up on them so they don’t leave the blockchain is priceless.
Our dearest Hive is doing well now and we pray it continues.
I had so much fun with the just concluded Dreemport HHYM marathon as I had the opportunity to connect with new Hiveans, the fun part was that we had to carry along so many newbies and this newbies had to coach their own newbies as well hehehehe. The treasure hunt organized by Dreemsteem was superb.
Overall I have been having fun on Hive, Hive is the first place I come to when I pick up my phone in the morning, I guess it’s pretty addictive and rewarding as well.
