I figured there would be a pull back whenever there's a major rally like that it's almost always followed up with a sell off. I still see us hitting $70,000+ by end of year and holding that rather steady.

I don't think there's any doubt about that. I think $100k is almost a given at this point. It will probably meander around between $55k and the latest high for a while and then it will just GO. Just my opinion...

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Your opinion is very accurate

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Depends upon what the futures market says in my opinion. Since that is leverages, if they want to crush the price, they can.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

The pullback might go on and down to $56k or might continue on the bull part. I believe that the end of year will look bright for cryptocurrency

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

The moon is waiting, you'll see.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I think it will rally for the next few days then pull back. I still think we are in price discovery now.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Well, a new resistance range has possibly already been established between $62K, so we are likely to see a price between 470K and the finally expected $100K.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

You are one of the more conservative forecasters.

And not to get caught up in the hype train but keep in mind there are still two months left in the year. We know how quickly things can move. If the bull has steam left, I believe we will push much higher.

It is not a case of creeping up higher.

That said, we could end lower from this level. The futures market can be manipulated a great deal if they want.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I like to plan for worse case lol that way if it's better then that it's all gravy

Bitcoin pulled back, but could this be the smallest pullback by percentage ever for BTC? Or is a 50% to 90% pullback still expected based on history?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Are you talking about the pullback from $65k down to $29k? That didn't feel small to me. If you're talking about the current one, then I don't think it will be too big or too long. Maybe retest $55k, maybe only $59k. Or maybe it just decides it's done retesting and runs straight to $80k. In my mind it all depends on the long/short positions. If there is a ton of long leverage coming in, it will spike lower before running. If the shorts are jumping in right now, it probably races higher. Whichever way makes the exchanges the most money is the direction it will go. The LAST thing they're going to allow it to do is stack a large amount of long-leveraged buyers and then have it run straight up. Every time that happens you'll see a sharp pullback.

It may be a somewhat cynical outlook, but it's right.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I was referring to the current pullback. I think BTC reached USD 70K and right now it's over USD 63K. That's 10%, practically nothing in crypto terms.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I think it's a minor setback, well actually when it comes to crypto it's always 50% and 50%.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

If it's only 10% or even 20%, that's good news. That could indicate a new phase in the world of cryptocurrency where drops/pullbacks/losses are more mild than in earlier times.

I could be mistaken and misled by hype, but if my guess is right then we've reached an important milestone in the maturity of cryptocurrency.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It's occurred that Bitcoin the spike we just experienced shows that we’re rebounding from a 56% price drawdown post a 228% recovery and from the history another massive recovery is coming. Market analyst has started speculating $125K as against $100K speculation. What's your thought, will this happen soon? BITCOIN WILL HIT $125,000

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

$125k before the year ends is something that may not likely come easily. Perhaps they want to keep people tight to their Bitcoin during the bull. You will agree with me that a jump to $100k on it's own won't come by easily. Perhaps we can say that such price will be the case by mid 2022.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

My hunch is that it will make it over $100K this year, of course by next year it may fall back to 70K but the 300K target is on track for 2022.

The largest retailer installs 200 Bitcoin ATMs.

This will put the name in front of tens of millions of people each day.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Will Walmart be getting a share of the profits from the ATMs? I have a feeling they will be but it's great news to get BTC out there for people.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

And in turn means more accelerated adoption by 2022.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

A good way to market one's brand. Also for the government to allow the installation, crypto lovers there will be confident in what they are doing.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Wow Walmart seems to be going forward with Bitcoin.
Looks like ATM fees will kill you to use it.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It's gotta retest support. If it holds then launch time...

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yup! I agree.

@taskmaster4450le you gotta make a section for Spknetwork, unless that just goes under hive.

Is there enough news to warrant it? I think it's fine under the HIVE subsection.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Oooh probably not.. I forgot what I even wanted to talk about haha

I agree with you, this project is growing fast and will explode.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Not much to talk about there at the moment.

Perhaps down the road we could add to it. Yet, I have a feeling once it goes live, it will end up fractured in what is built on there.

But something to keep in mind as we get closer to the date of stuff being released.

Fan token launched is not a new thing in crypto world as many sport has claimed there own AA s recently we see Messi for PSG with the fan token and it seems Cricket tornament will soon have its own fan token.

Cricket sport is one of the most popular sport in Indian and IPL is the most popular tournament. Polygon network been an Indian based project is set to launch fans token for this cricket tournament and this will increase the popularity and value of the sport. Read more

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I don't see anything wrong with it and it also gives the fans more say in what the teams actually do.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Sure there is nothing bad, it is actually a means of increasing adoption

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yesterday there were social media posts about Lazio token launch. Perhaps in near future we may likely see a switch to crypto payment for footballers.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

There are alot of fans token, as some of the footballers are already going into crypto this is great to see crypto going global.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Even the most popular sports are taking part in this crypto race.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Question. Is there any decentralization version of NEXO or Celsius which gives you return for your locked crypto coins?

Well I guess there is Defi where you can deposit stable coins and yeild farm other tokens. Of course its not as passive.

Question. What are some of the good communities on HIVE where you spend the most of your time? (Not counting leofinance).

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Although I'm not there as often as I had been a few months ago, it's still Proof of Brain. Once in a while I check out CENT, CTP, and City of Neoxian.

Believe it or not, I've been spending more time recently at SplinterTalk even though I don't play; over there I lurk.

When I'm not active at LeoFinance, the place where I spend lots of time (using my other account) is D.Buzz. The place actually has some decent content I can share here.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I haven't been checking the other communities a lot but I do like the CTP or SPT if I have time.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

You only should check SPT if you play Splinterlands :)

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

You only should check SPT if you play Splinterlands :)

I have no idea how to play, which is why I lurk. It's not an easy game to learn like Poker or Monopoly. So I'm trying to understand some things before I decide to play.

Even if I never play, I can invest. SplinterTalk should also be good for reading about how to earn passive income or play the card rental "game" within the real game.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

The new changes makes it harder for new players. Your going to want 1k collection power to move out of Bronze 3 to get DEC rewards.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I do play Splinterlands so I do check SPT from time to time but I focus more on LeoFinance.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

SPT is taking my atention.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

There are none other than Leofinance for me.

Splinterlands Chaos Legion Booster Pack

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

FOMO bro, fOMO

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Hahahaha. Man I want to buy a 100 packs anyhow. I am FOMOing hard on this one.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It's the new card pack that is on sale. The prices of the packs on the after market is lower compared to the price of vouchers.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Lol, should I buy this then instead of buying it directly with the vouchers?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It depends and people are mainly buying vouchers because of the presale benefits and airdrops. The choice is up to the individual users.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

@taskmaster4450le @theycallmedan @starkerz I had another question about the claimdrop: Is the snapshot going to be a onetime thing or will there be ongoing snaps for each claim? I was just wondering about that earling... im so f-ing stoked for the launch of Spknetwork!

It's going to be an awesome network launch and it will rival YouTube. An alternative way to make income. Fantastic.

Hell yea!! 3speak is what originally brought me to hive, so I'm really happy about Spk

You can do a spot checks on SpkNetwork Litepaper it has everything you need

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That looks so good :D

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

The snapshot is a one time thing and they the claimdrop each month is based upon that.

Question. Do you invest into subscriptions in services or you avoid subscriptions like amazon prime, netflix or others? I personally try to minimize them as they eat up a lot collectively. What about you?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I avoid subscriptions, especially for the services you mentioned. Even if money was not a concern, control is; so is security. I try to keep a low profile, but sometimes there is no avoiding them.

As best as I can I want to support Web 3.0 versions of those services, but the Web 3.0 versions are still in their infancy.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I tend to avoid them unless I actually need them.

I'm still working on my Hive Engine project, but I finished compiling info for all the tokens. There's more I need to do, but I can say for certain that Hive Engine has 22 tokens listed for Splinterlands:

  • 1 for blogging (SPT);
  • 18 for game play;
  • 2 for offline support of the players (most likely via Discord), SGT and DECR; and
  • 1 (alleged) scam token (SPF).

While I need to make my spreadsheet searchable for a number of queries I want to make, I will publish a post giving a brief overview of these Splinterlands tokens. It will be published within 24 to 48 hours.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It shows how many ways there are to profit from @splinterlands.

Now imagine that same idea going out 100 times.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Can't wait to read it! That's a LOT of tokens for one game.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Despite the fact that 22 tokens will be covered by that post, it will be a brief overview: symbol, name, a price quote for reference only, token issuer, token description, maybe some rich list information. It's essentially Hive Engine content but put in one place. Anything more would be best for a post for each token.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Are you going to host this spreadsheet on Google sheets or is this going to be offline spreadsheet?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

For now this will be an offline spreadsheet. If I can share the spreadshet using a Web 3.0 service I would do that. I may be able to use IPFS to store the file somewhere, only I'm not sure what I'm doing with IPFS beyond uploading images for use by D.Buzz and Terrive.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yea Splinterlands has a lot of tokens. You got packs, entry, land and even totems...

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

There are so many ways to financially benefit.

This is going to be just the start. There will be many more.

It is exciting to watch. For that reason, we just need to keep doing what we are to each push things forward.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Splinterlands provided the model for other games such as Rising Star. The breakthrough will come when the model can be adapted to games or a radically different nature. It seems to be well-suited to tabletop games such as Axis and Allies or even Monopoly.

Casino games will require a different model, but they can benefit from a game which takes traditional play to a higher level such as NFTs.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Don't foeget dice.

Out of all those tokens, how many of them would a basic player really care about? DEC and SPS, for sure. What other tokens should a player getting started care about?

(Also, LAND is a Layer 2 token, but not for Splinterlands. For any Splinterlands player interested in real estate, stick with PLOT.)

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

DICE is a pack lol.

I heard totems play a role in the land after it is released and there are common, rare, epic and legendary versions of then. I am sure each one has their own token on Hive Engine.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

SLDICE is the token for the AZMARE Dice pack.

As for the totems, the 4 tokens are TOTEME, TOTEMC, TOTEML, and TOTEMR.

Would having any of these tokens or packs be analogous to having hotels built on a property in Monopoly? How do the dice or totems help a player in a battle?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I am not sure about DICE but totems are suppose to be used with land and it hasn't been released yet.

Thanks for the reminder. I just collected mine today.

Dane:

My article titled "How do Hive Backed Dollars (HBD) work? [Including The HBD Stabilizer, The HBD Debt Limit, and The Haircut Rule]" is finished, published and linked to the Guide.

Is anything left on this topic (if you know)?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

As renewable energy is failing and reserves dwindle, more of our electricity production is coming from oil. This is causing a strain on the reserves there which are going to potentially push prices higher.

The other beneficiary of all this is coal. Ironic that countries are turning back to the dirtiest of all energy sources since their "cleaner" plants were shut down.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It definitely is ironic. The people who say that the current administration isn't responsible are dumb. When you destroy fracking and the keystone pipeline, our energy was bound to take a hit. Of course I prefer green energy but its just not ready.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

@esmeesmith

RE: Your article comparing HBD and Tether

HBD does not have specified circulating supply and the capped supply documented as of yet.

You can find HBD Market Cap here live. Then divide market cap by price (HBD Market Cap/Price) and you have up to the minute circulating supply.

HBD has yet to put the mechanism to stay pegged to the dollar value.

The HBD Stabilizer, HBD Debt Limit, and Haircut Rule are all in full force and effect on the network. The current destabilization, in my opinion, is a result of a lack of market depth and lack of large market makers.

cc: @forexbrokr

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I referred to coinmarketcap and coingecko for the data on the marketcap and circulation. Considering none of these sources had the data, my statement reflected that part. I'll update the post in between.

About the mechanism, yes, I was aware of the HBD stabilizer part but I assume it didn't helped considering the value 0.9-1.5. So in comparison with Tether which has such in place, I added that part.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

About the mechanism, yes, I was aware of the HBD stabilizer part but I assume it didn't helped considering the value 0.9-1.5. So in comparison with Tether which has such in place, I added that part.

Nonetheless, the statement "HBD has yet to put the mechanism to stay pegged to the dollar" is patently wrong. The mechanisms are in place and are operational. The extent to the degree of their success may be in question, but they are, in fact, there. The present deviations from peg are occurring even with the mechanisms in place (and I have already given you my opinion as to why)

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I updated that part, sadly I wanted to add links to the one you gave here. But HTML table seems to be ignoring the markdown URL links. So I added reference at the bottom of table.

Thanks for the updates guys :)
