Embracing the Three Relevant Points of Wisdom

Wisdom is the best offensive and defensive tool that each individual seeks. It is an old-age concept revered across cultures and generations. The Norse God of the Sky, Odin, exchanges his one eye for wisdom. King Solomon also asks his living God for a gift which is Wisdom. Every individual seeks it that's why we educate ourselves on certain things based on our perspective, for the improvement, development, and advancement of every aspect of our living. We are civilized because of wisdom. It encapsulates knowledge, understanding, and the ability to apply these elements to make sound decisions.

For me, Unveiling Wisdom is like Cooking My Recipe This Saturday Morning, having the three relevant things necessary, the utensils, the fire, and the ingredients.

But here is a scenario that comes up, I am asked to give a classroom of ten-year-old children three relevant points of wisdom. What are they and why?

This is also a very nice topic for the WE 172, by @galenkp. As a teacher by profession, I already taught these relevant points to my students, but they are not ten years old anymore. And some might ask, why do you think @galenkp indicated an age which is ten years old? And my answer is this. At this stage of life is the start of becoming a teenager, individuals look for an answer to their curious minds, they already seek an answer to every question and explore every aspect of their lives. It is the best stage to instill lifelong learning about everything crucial for honing their lives.

In this blog post, we will delve into the three crucial points of wisdom that hold great relevance in our lives today. Let's embark on the journey to unlock the true essence of wisdom.

Self-Awareness or Self-Reflection

Self-awareness is like washing my clothes, I need to segregate the white from colorful clothes, as self-awareness is necessary to identify your strengths and weaknesses

The first relevant point of wisdom that I have to give to the classroom of ten-year-old children is self-awareness. This point taught us to be aware of ourselves about our strengths, weaknesses, values, and emotions. Here we used to reflect on ourselves and learn to identify what could be the best road to be taken toward our destiny. It's like a scenario where a young fish must practice how to swim fast to avoid and escape the predator, rather than practicing how to fly or run. Self-awareness is about understanding our thoughts, beliefs, and actions which allows us to make better choices and decisions.

Building Empathy

Building Empathy is what I always do every weekend, I always do the chores to give my wife a break, because if I am a househusband, I think I also need a break or day off from household chores. I just do all the chores every weekend with a smile

The second relevant point that I will give is Empathy. Empathy is the scenario where we need to put ourselves in others' shoes. It is where we learn to build a peaceful and progressive community. Here we must understand their perspectives, and genuinely care for their feelings and experiences, fostering better relationships that enable effective collaboration, because every individual is no island.

Learning How To Learn

Continuous learning is like my manual way of washing. Instead of using a washing machine, I prefer to use my hands, it saves a lot of detergent, water, and electrical energy.

Learning takes place when someone applies their knowledge in a real situation, or we may call it experience. Learning is a continuous process, and that's the third relevant topic about wisdom that I could give. Wisdom requires a commitment to lifelong learning and growth. It is about always seeking knowledge, exploring experiences, and opening to different perspectives. Through the constant expansion of our understanding and challenging our assumptions, we can make well-informed and thoughtful decisions, adapt to changes, and unlock new opportunities that greatly contribute to our growth and development.

Wisdom is a lifelong journey. By embracing self-awareness or self-reflection, building empathy, and continuous learning, we can unlock the door of wisdom's transformative power. These three relevant points of wisdom that I give will serve as pillars and have a profound positive impact on the lives of the children.

Great to see a man helping out in the house, and its full of wisdom to use this things you do most times as a learning tool, seeing every things as a lesson not every one has that kinda mindset

Thank you for your appreciation.
Helping with the household chores has become my habit. I felt empty if I did nothing.

Hmm well thats a nice view to look at things, majority of men thou are like you,

The first relevant point of wisdom that I have to give to the classroom of ten-year-old children is self-awareness.

I like this concept very much, especially for teaching children, it is very similar to my way of thinking and also to my way of educating, when I tell my students the difference between the strong mind and the weak mind.

Many times people believe that a person who is very impulsive is a person with a strong mind, and no, it is the opposite, he is a person with a weak mind, because he does not know how to control his mind, on the other hand, the person who knows how to control his impulse, that person is a person with a strong mind.

Children are in the capacity to assimilate that and also to understand it and put it into practice, self-awareness is equal to the strong mind and the weak mind.
