Good morning to you all, how are we all fairing?, I trust we are doing great, well for me am not doing bad either, very thing is perfectly fine all thanks to God almighty who had been there for me.
So friends It’s actually a pleasure and a great privilege to write to you all in this community, actually it’s my first time posting here as well, I do all my posting at @needleworks community, giving the fact that am a fashion designer and that community is just based on all kind of needleworks and getting content to post there is just very easy cause it’s just what I do on a daily basis. So that why I mostly base and post there and the journey with them has been amazing so far so guys since it’s my first time posting to this community am just curious to how my journey here will be 🤷🏽 nevertheless I trust it will be fun☺️.
Am so excited to be here all thanks to @Mhizerbee my very good friend who actually told me about this community and this contest too, she’s knows very well I sing maybe that why she introduced me here. She dropped the link to this contest on my WhatsApp for me and she told me I should go check it out and I clicked and boom!💥 it was an interesting contest with amazing 6 deferent topics to choose and talk on so I specially say thank you to her for introducing me to this contest, I love you dear 🥰😍😘. To the organizers of this contest I say thank you too for presenting such delicious topics to choose and talk on I can practically talk on all of the topic because music and singing is just my personality and lifestyle 😊 so thanks to the organizers for those amazing topics. So from those 6 amazing topics, I think I’ll go with option “4” which is:
Tell us about your personal musical or singing ability, talent or experiences.
This particular topic is so interesting, so please permit me to breakdown this topic into tinny pieces and take my time to answer them bit by bit. Am breaking it down into 3questions:
- Tell us about your personal musical.
- Singing ability or talent.
- Experience both in singing.
Tell us about your personal musical:
First of all let me just start by saying that to me music is like a dynamite 🧨, you don’t see it coming but when it hits you, you don’t feel pains but instead you feel the impact and it’s liberate you that’s just music can do to a person. Now to me music is my identity.
music is my lifestyle, it’s like the air I breath same way I can’t stay a second without breathing for life that’s the same way I can’t live a second without music, music is just Me! And it’s something I can’t live without, its brings peace to my soul 😊, music give me a reason to live and keep striving. Music is a source of inspiration to me, it’s inspires me. Music has a way of liberating ones soul.
What’s is music:
Music was suppose to comfort the listeners not to make them distressed but nowadays the kinds of music that’s been produced lately I wonder where those producers got there inspirations from, back then in the 190’s music was so natural👌and enlightening. To me I think any producer that what’s to produces a meaningful piece should surly get there inspiration from nature. Like the inventors of airplanes ✈️ “Wright brothers” in 17 December 1903, he got his inspiration to make an airplane, with wings to fly form a nature creature which is a bird 🦅 same way a bird flys. And just like the animal “quadrupeds” 🦓 has four legs so “mr.Karl Benz” drew his inspiration and he invented cars with for wheels just like the legs of animal that helps them move from one place to the other that’s the same way he invented a car and provided four wheel to enable the car to move from one place to the other. That’s just how things should be done, I think nature has all the answers to any of our questions if only we will follow it’s direct processes. So in music too I think the best way to compose a good song not just a good song but a very meaningful lyrics and rhymes I think seeking help from nature is just the most important thing to do.
Where to get inspiration to compose a song:
First place to get inspiration for composing a song should be in a domestic forest, where there no wild animals just birds singing on the tress and moving around that’s one of the place you can get inspiration to write not just songs even poems and many more. Just go there ease your mind and just let watch how the leafs bend from one angle to the other. Just keep calm and listen to your mind you’ll hear a song regenerating out of you on it’s on without stress that’s one way to get inspiration from nature on how to compose a song.
Second way of getting inspiration from nature to compose a song is going to the beach 🏖, go there stand where the water will flows and get to you, stand watch how the water crumbles in rage, watch how the waves 🌊 displays free your mind and just let nature lead you on the right part and then you’ll just get answers to what ever questions you may have and also you’ll be inspired to compose.
Third way of getting inspiration from nature to compose a song is going outside at night when everywhere is quiet and peaceful as well as calm too, go to maybe garden, or just outside at an open air place where you can receive fresh air and you just have to free your kind and connect to nature.
All those tips I just gave it’s something I figured out on my own and have tried them they all worked magic you can also try it out anytime you’ll be surprise and happy you did.
My sing ability:
Aside from sewing am a very good singer, am sorry if I sound like a prideful person but I just can’t help but to appreciate myself and encourage myself first before another person comes in, so I sing by profession too and I studied music in high school so I know quite a a little about music. Hopefully when I get into college I’ll further on that as well, so I sing in my church and am also a member of a musical band called “living portals” which we do go for musical displays in deferent events and places.
All my life have been a singer, scoring songs, according to mom she said even when I was still a little boy I use to take up a stick and I most stand in front of a mirror and I sing to the mirror, she said I sometimes emulate a singer in church 😂 when I come back from church 😂 before anything I go to the mirror with my stick and I’ll just start singing and doing all the things the person did that say in church 😂 so funny right 😂 sometimes looking back to what I usually do just put a smile on my face. I also grew up into a man I was still singing never let that singing spirit in me that voice to fade away as time passed on, I just kept singing but i never discovered my self yet and the reason for my talent until when I was 16years that was when I fully discovered my singing ability, that was when I understood the reason why I was gifted which was to praise always. I sing any kind of music, when it comes to group singing or choir I do love singing the alto part that’s just the part am very good at and it’s just so amazing having the voice to sing well.
My Experience in singing:
Wow! My experience as a singer, have experienced and learnt a lot from singing, one thing have learnt is that singing is an expression it’s just who you are, if you can’t express your feelings that mean you just can’t sing, you just can’t give what you don’t have, in other words to be able to sing, is to being able to express you feelings, your pains, your heartbreak into your song someone’s has to feel it and you just can’t fake it.
Another thing I experienced, As singer I get to work with my follow singers too most times do a medley with them but have noticed that some of them are too prideful and egotist, there’re not ready to help you know what ever they know, they just want to live and die with there ideas they just feel you’ll be much better than them if they’re to share there idea with you and they’re so full of themselves you can’t even correct them even when they’re wrong they still feel they’re just perfect and even when they don’t know particular thing they’re so big to ask, they feel it’s a big slap to there faces having to learn from another person they feel they can achieve everything on there own without getting a help hand form something even when the person more superior to them.
There’re also some that are very sweet always ready to help out even when you don’t need there help they still fight to make you understand a particular thing, even when you go to them for help they just feel it’s an obligation and they assist you with so much love and affection.
