"No amount of reading or memorizing will make you successful in life. It is the understanding and application of wise thought that counts."- Bob Proctor.

Reading and memorizing is a good thing because it sure helps with passing the examination in the field of academics, but it doesn't do more than just getting you the degrees. certification and applauds.
If you do not get out there to put into practice all that you have read and memorized, you will just be a walking dictionary in human form picking insults, dusts and mockery as you go.
You must as a matter of doing the best thing for yourself, set out to make good use of the things you have read and memorized and make sure to let them be applied into the day to day engine of civilization.
I have seen the smartest and most brilliant students struggling to survive because they learnt just how to read and memorized and never learnt how to make good use of their inner mindset to push the ideas out into the right process.
I don't want to read and memorize too much, I just want to be able to utilize the little I understand into bringing about change and profitability. The idea of reading and memorizing to be that person that soon contributes to humanity in the best possible way.
Becoming a living dictionary will end you up in a coco's nest.
Reading about "Success in Business" has never made anyone successful in business, what makes for success is the understanding of what you have read and the ability to make good use of it in the physical application process.
