A perfect strike in the sea!

Yaayh! It's Friday! Come and watch some action at the ocean!

Amazing how the sea has the manner to relax one before the weekend!

Just to take an easy stroll and to keep the camera ready for action. On our walks at the beginning I lost a lot of great shots due to my camera not being switched on, but we have learnt over time to be ready at any time in an instant.
We love the ocean and its ancient mysteries as there is always so much to be seen and its a veritable sea of life and love. But at times it can also be a "sea of heartbreak"
The same as life!

Yes! Here you can see that the Egret was successful with his strike and the gull behind him looks a bit jealous hahaha!

Yess!, he knows that I have the camera on him and how's this for a pose???
"Come on mate" he thought, "Put me on @hive"!

This guy thought that water was too cold for a swim and any case, there are sharks, so he just had a careful look around to show his owner how brave he is!

But then again there are others that enjoy the Atlantic ocean!

My favorite, a cotillion of the very fast Terns!

And they didn't disappoint my wait for them to show me some flying action!

Did I tell you that Terns are very fast flyers?

Yeeks! The water is cold! How many of us have lifted one foot like this when we tried the water hahaha!

And that's it for this Friday!

Here I have a lovely and true poem for you!

Beautiful 😍

Finding time for oneself appears to be an ongoing problem throughout life, assisting others, keeping up with the hum drum of daily routine. The beach is calling and soon time will be spent down there again, no masks I want to feel the kiss of salt water!

Time to wind up the battery with a good walk, still no clear cut rules in this land of ours, perhaps it is about time to take matters into our own hands and just do!

The time for no masks will not arrive soon methinks!
We also wear masks on the beach, but every now and then, I pull mine down when there's no people around.
Just a thing to get used to for our own safety, as if I get a whiff of that covid stuff I will be gonner!

Been doing exactly that my friend!

Blessings and have a good weekend!

Area we go to on the beach normally no one gets that close to each other.

It is one thing wearing this mask in winter now imagine summer and humidity, I would rather not go anywhere.

Yes we have to think of others and use them in malls or shops, however sooner or later we have to face the fact our anti-bodies will go one of two ways, life is always a 50/50 call.

Well then, ring the bell. call the dogs and off you go!

Yeah summer is going to be a problem, I wear an extra large size mask, easy to slip it under my chin, but very irritating.

Exactly, but I have extra vulnerabilitys like a confused immune system, high blood pressure (heridetary), bad chest from smoking and I am sure that if they check my head out properly, they will find some or much madness hiding somewhere in it!
So to me life is a 35/65 call hahaha.

Weather is starting to change we had enough rain to just dampen the ground followed by cold, all the way up from Cape Town....

Most of us live with pre-existing conditions, over 40 they will find something for sure!

In the middle now of an even bigger storm Lady Joan and tomorrow is going to be bad news. Bad news is that people have built shacks in a flood plain and the water is roof height.

It will be sure to also hit you guys soon according to these sceaming winds tonight!

Blessings and take care!
