Why I Am Optimistic About Hive

Many people are down on Hive. To me, this make little sense.

Looking at this situation as where it is now is can be misleading. There are many examples of why this is flawed. For example, I bought a batch of LEO at .025 HIVE. Why did I do that when the price had dropped from .30 HIVE? Because I saw where things are going.

In this video I discuss some of the reasons why I am optimistic about Hive and why I believe that some of the ones bashing it will be unhappy campers a year from now.

I think you're right on point when your saying that the other projects, except gaming, needs to step up their development to create more enthusiasm. That's what's happening here on Leo right now. People see a active community and frequent updates coming out.

The other projects should look at Leo and use it's strengths in their projects. I think there are a lot of good ideas out there that could really take off!

I think they look on trying to find the magic button when there isn't one. It was the result of a lot of development and hard work. This gave confidence to the community which is growing consistently.

It all feeds into itself. That is something that appears missing from the other tribes. Perhaps it is there but I do not see it in the posts people put up.

I am now become indifferent to price of Hive.

For me , Cheap Hive ==> Lot of Dapps can on board the user for cheap, creating a strong second layer demand, Since I am actively looking at Hive ecosystem, I will be benefitted on second layer.

Pumped Hive ==> I never powered down my Hive, I still win.

Programming and patching are like the Law system in the U.S. The information is all still there but with over-write and loops is can be overlooked... The longer a program is around and the more it is "updated" the more loops there are thus confusing not only the programmers but the system... Sometimes a complete overhaul is needed or going back to square one.

Programming and patching are like the Law system in the U.S.

Certainly like the tax system. That is nothing but patchwork over many decades.

If you look up any law today and follow the trail that law will have been altered, removed, readded, altered again, it is by far a very confusing system, Instead of removing the law and rewriting it they just change the existing one.

Thanks for the shout out man, appreciate it. The INDEX project has been a blast so far...Smooth and no hiccups. Yet lol

But you are right...It'll be the dapps and the communities leading the charge. I believe that.

And for now, it's accumulation mode for us...Just building everyday and stacking as many HIVE as we can..And LEO of course too ;)

Too much value here not to!

I like reading this. I went on a bit of a buying spree today and stacked some INDEX tokens.

Looking forward to the reports about what you are buying.

Thank you sir, much appreciated!

Yup, we'll do some detailed posts of it all. The orders have been flying out there...Already got over 2k LEO and loads of other tokens. Excited to see where this is in a month from now when everything has had time to grow nicely :)

LEO been very very good to me...I am sure it will be good to INDEX too.

I presume the dividends earned from tokens such as SPI and BRO are reinvested?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yup, just checked with him, all rewards will come to token holders as dividends. Even those coming in as dividends from tokens like BRO and SPI.

I was wondering this but isn't BRO limited supply token and cannot be staked? How can BRO be given out as dividends if it cannot be earned but only traded ? I hope you got what I meant .

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

BRO earns rewards each day in the form of other tokens. They are sent out to the holders in the form of PAL, SIM, LEO, etc...

INDEX could do the same thing although my preference is for them to reinvest the dividends into more tokens.

But alas, it is not my project.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yeah we will see how to get those out to people, I'll double check with Blain but pretty sure they are already set to be sent to token holders. I'll make sure though and let you know.

@taskmaster4450le I had 75 INDEX until yesterday and just bought 75 more now . I have been holding it for only 2 days now so this question might be stupid but have you got the payout from them apart from SIM coin ? I mean it isn't like I am doubting them I just want to know if I have too less INDEX to get dividends .

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Not that I know of but I only started holding them yesterday so it isnt even 24 hours.

You made a lot of good sense about reasons to keep accumulating the Hive token. I think I would be sorry if all my Hive were gone. Now that I have diversified into other tokens I can let my Hive grow again without having Fomo when it runs higher again.

It is a tough choice in many ways. There are a lot of projects on Hive that are worthy of investing. They are providing some spectacular returns. It is hard to argue for the success of them, from a pricing perspective, as compared to HIVE.

That said, my experience with LEO tells me a lot. I was one of the few buying on the way down. Many stopped when it got below .1 HIVE. I kept going. I was adding 4,000-10,000 LEO at a time.

Some who were involved in LEO from the beginning start to scramble and buy up tokens when the wLEO was announced. I was baffled. How could they not be accumulating the entire time. They had an idea of what was going on.

Nonetheless, they started adding at like .25 and working their way all the way up to at least .5.

I can see the same thing happening with HIVE. At some point, when we get the development to the point that it needs to be, I can see some life suddenly going into HIVE. At that point, the move might be swift.

I think the whole Steemit debacle made Steemleo take a back seat for a while, the silver lining for me was, I put all my Steem sales into my Leo pile. I missed a lot of curation in the beginning because my first 10,000 Leo was delegated to Spinvest for a while.

Feedback from the December 1st Hive Power Up Day

I’m with you. There’s too much happening on here for it not to be successful. Unless there’s absolutely no marketing, the development will catch up to the price.

And I don’t know how leo is making updates with hive at its current price, but I’d imagine that other tribes and front ends would make more consistent updates if the prices were better. They’re not the first to do some really advanced stuff with this tech and they surely won’t be the past.

Lots of great things coming our way though man. We’re just gonna have to be patient for the price action.

And I don’t know how leo is making updates with hive at its current price

What makes you think that updates by Leo are correlated to the price of Hive? What does the price of Hive have to do with the development team at Leo?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I just thought higher hive prices would mean larger post rewards. and that might lead to more funds available to pay for all the stuff they're building.

They're really doing a lot compared to some other projects and its moving pretty quickly, they cant be doing all of this for free...
