On this day in 2021, I posted about a cryptocurrency wallet and group of faucets which disappeared along with its users' funds 😮

On this day in 2021, I posted about a cryptocurrency wallet (and its corresponding faucets owned by the same team), soon after they were gone along with the cryptocurrency coins of its users who were unable to withdraw their funds. 😐

"not your keys, not your coins" 😳

Even complete wallets disappeared over the years. There were many cryptocurrency exit scams over the years. The best is to approach this as carefully as possible, and not storing a lot in a single wallet. Okay, I am saying this, while I store almost all of my cryptocurrencies in my Hive account. Haha. 😂

!LOLZ.

But hopefully a complete blockchain will not disappear from one day to another.

Have a nice day. All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.

Which "complete wallets" are you referring to? Are you referring to the cryptocurrency wallets themselves, or the custodial wallet providers?

Well, not everyone can follow the "best approach" regarding any situation, like the recommended use of multiple non-custodial cryptocurrency wallets to store your funds.

I don't think that an actual useful blockchain (such as Hive) will (completely) disappear all of a sudden.

Thank you for the comment, the !LOLZ, the !PIZZA, the !LUV, and the !hivebits. I also give some...

The wallet providers. For example I registered my first Bitcoin (BTC) wallet on 2014.02.26 on blockchain.info. That is no longer exists. I do not know when (in which year) it disappeared, but I still have the welcome e-mail from them. And there are discontinued faucets too. For example QoinPro.

Technically, your BTC wallet still exists, but you can no longer control it without either its private key itself or the holder of its private key. Anyway, still keeping the welcome e-mail for joining a website (custodial cryptocurrency wallet provider) is so uncommon these days.

Faucets are not wallets by themselves, so unless your funds from your custodial wallets that you earned from faucets are taken away, your cryptocurrency did not "disappear".

Thank you for your reply. I give you some...

Hivebits blends Hive's blockchain and Bitcoin's ethos. Your effort = your reward. Mine HBIT simply 1-per-day with (no space): ! hivebits or ! HBIT or ! hbit or $ hbit.
Success! You mined .9 HBIT and the user you replied to received .1 HBIT on your behalf. You can receive 100% of the HBIT by replying to one of your own posts or comments. Or, support Hivebits at the official HBIT mine | your wallet | market | tools | connect | <><

This confirmation reply will go off when Resource Credits (RCs) get low. Yet, your hivebits command will still go through and you'll get your HBIT. :)

Seems like that's recycling to me.
