Good morning Food Service! My Actifit Report Card: March 2 2026

I had almost forgotten that it was my day to bring food to Lily's school! That meant very early shopping. It wasn't even 8am and I already had 2k steps on the clock. And I got everything I needed Plus, the weather was awesome again.

I jumped right into the gym after dropping off the food. Some nice and mellow chest training, some abs, nothing too fancy. I don't want to pull a muscle. I don't have time for that, so I'm in maintenance mode. More cardio. Less weight.

My baker did a great job on the bagels last night. They looked pretty amazing. He got the Brezel a little too twisted, though - it's usually a simple spin in the middle, not a double. Didn't hurt the taste, though, Lily and I enjoyed one each for dinner. She's in munchy mood again, eating a lot. Probably another growth episode incoming...

At 13:37, my heart rate was suddenly at 137. Old school gamers might remember that number. So I took it as a good omen for the upcoming talk between the teacher, the director, Lily's mom and I. And it was. Lily's teacher is amazing and was really great at picking Lily's mom up, sympathizing and at the same time defending herself masterfully. I'm so grateful for that school. Lily's mom is not. We'll keep ok fighting aber that I guess.

At least she won't be fighting with me about when Lily stays with me and when with her, which means we can finally ease into a 50/50 which I had proposed and advocated for, with Lily's support. I found a way to make that happen. That will bring more stability to Lily's life.

I made some kale chips for Ellie. She loves them and has an important meeting tomorrow. So, Some encouragement.

Later, lily and I went outside. While she played in the little park in front of our house, I upped my steps while answering messages and organizing work stuff.
