Welcome to Steemit!

Out of everything I've read here two silly things popped into my mind. One is you've gotten crazy earnings on your Dtube video. I posted my first video there two days ago and it's like it doesn't exist so for you to get support so quickly is truly amazing!

Second thing is YOU'RE 40???? You look like you're in your late 20s or early 30s. I'm blown away..

Yes, @herosjourney might be on the fast track to success. I'm happy for her.

Indeed. I'm motivated by her already

Hey @solomonsel ha! Yes, I will be 40 in April. I try to take care of myself because we only have one body to live in so might as well take care of it. hehe :) Thanks for your comment!

Welcome to Steemit and good luck! Follow me and I will follow you back :) @phil917

Sure thing! Nice to meet you!

Welcome to steem! Great story! Good luck!

Welcome to Steemit @herosjourney. I am also from Texas! Followed you and looking forward to your blogs.

Hello @chiwolf What part of Texas?

I'm new in the comunity so Good luck :)

On Fire Brandy, I'm Oatmeal Joey, and yes, you are on fire, and Facebook was worse than MySpace, Xanga, and maybe AOL. At least MySpace had more customization. And emails started collecting moe and more dust, AKA spam, like you said. Brandy, you have a great family. i love what you say. And it inspires. i am 33, from Oregon. My brother was in Texas. I may move to Texas or something. I love Texas for many reasons. Life is full of adventures. I love the potential of Steem, Bitcoin, Gab, and more. Welcome and keep doing what you do.

@Joeyarnoldvn So what caught my eye about your welcome post was that you call yourself "Oatmeal Joey" tell me more about that. :)

Texas is a wonderful state. One of the reasons, I just found out in the last 2 years, that I love Texas so much is that it doesn't have a vehicle tax or income tax that it imposes on its residents. Living in Arkansas we were struggling to pay this tax out of our weekly checks and then the tax imposed on our vehicle we drive every single year even if its a 15 year old vehicle. I'm perfectly fine with the way Texas runs its state and I think others have found the secret too because its booming! Dallas, Austin, San Antonio and Houston are booming!

I agree I loved MySpace but I guess there aren't many people like ourselves that loved the fact you could customize your myspace page almost like having a one page website. Our daily lives shouldn't be effected by an algorithm of news that they think we want to see.

Anyway, thanks so much for the warm welcome!

I am Oatmeal because I eat oatmeal since I was a kid and people say that and would call me the Oatmeal Boy or Oatmeal or Cool Kid because I was maybe cool. I like less taxes. I never heard of vehicle tax but it doesn't surprise me as I know government grows. I hope we the people can vote in and out people in government that can do what we want them to do. Drain swamps. So, we do better with less taxes and more freedoms, choices. I would not want an oatmeal tax, haha. And I love web design.

welcome to steemit comunity i hope you enjoy here :-)

So far I am loving the support I'm getting. Thanks so much!

Welcome to Steemit!

I like your steemit name, @herosjourney. I'm not sure if you're a fiction writer, but writers are familiar with Joseph Campbell's concept of a Hero's Journey, or monomyth.

Many writers try to base their stories on the monomyth, which is the distillation of a storytelling pattern that's been told over time, across many cultures.

That's what your name reminded me of.

Anyway, I'm not a military spouse, but I am a military person: I'm in the Canadian navy, as a reservist.

Like you, I do have interests in entrepreneurship.

Welcome to Steemit.

PS: You're right: your daughter does look like you.

@dkfynn Thanks, Yes I really resonate with the Hero's Journey by Joseph Campbell. I love how it starts with an adventure and ends with the freedom to live. I feel like every entrepreneur starts on a adventure or journey in the hopes that the outcome is the freedom to live our lives without having to worry about finances. We can truly live when the things we dream about doing in our lives can actually come true.

I'm not a writer but I've learned that to be great at what I do as a business coach and leader that storytelling will be the #1 thing to learn. People love to hear a good story with a great outcome or a lesson to be learned.

Thanks for the warm welcome! :)
