the vyb core teams published a post giving update on the project, but one of the issues that was mentioned is that if you are using multi tags like you are post a single post on different front end, postin a single post and taging vyb, leofinance, stem or any other front end, if you do so you will not be receiving vyb on that post.
however the rule is yet to be effective but what do you see about it as a community member.
tagging vyb and pob will not be an issue but outside those two will make you not to receive vyb curation.

I really find this post really interesting because I feel most people don't really know how to apply this tags to their post rather they even put more tags to a particular post that is not suppose to be but my question is what kind of post can the vyb and proofofbrain tag be applied
Many do do this because of greed

I would love to collect Curation in vyb pob and leo all together
Leo finance should be honored as the first tribe in hive blockchain so leo finance should not be included in this so tagging Leo is acceptable
The short answer is - you CAN put those VYB & POB tags on ANY post.
But then comes a LOT more complex problem - which way you profit (profit not only financially, but also by visibility, attention grab wise) the most? No clear answer here, and nobody will give it to you.
Will it be more profitable to have fewer tags, and concentrate your expectations on VYB returns?
Or consider those VYB tokens only as an extra, low effort "free money" (on your other way oriented post)?
Probably the only way is to find those answers by yourself, all on your own, practical experience.

Definitely I saw your that too and I think giving them a downvote warning or muting them if they refuse to desist from such act is a good way to clean the tags abuse issue

What of if I don't use too many #tag buy I used three hashtag (pob,vyb and just add leo finance) will I still be Curated in vyb? Or we are not allowed to tag any tribe?

This new rule of hashtag might reduce new members because vyb users won't wanna post outside vyb tribe for Curation and this will reduce other tribe witnessing vyb greatness and popularity.

I want my content to receive leo Curation also and pob/vyb Curation that the three tribe I belong to
It feels like a moral decision from where I'm standing. Does the tag fit your content? Are you adding the tag so your post reaches more people so it (and you) can enrich or add something to their lives (or even take something away, subtracting things that are clouding the mind is very valuable too)?
We're experimenting with exclusionary tags. They aren't an irreversible decision like the delegation and auto-staking parameters. More feedback and opinions = more info for us to work with.

I will suggest this rule should be applied to those using using too many hashtag.
But 2 to 3 tag is ok
This decision is of advantage and disadvantage.
Advantage
Might stop the value of vyb from dumping
Disadvantage
Might reduce content creation band then engagement and Community

I have taught of this because this is one of the big dump of pob due to other tribe just tagging and they seeing unexpected token of tribe they don't belong so they sell.
But let there be tag of 3 or 4 Maximum and if it's too much then it's unacceptable
Abusing of tags is everywhere when it comes to how users at a times abuse tags for the sake of farming token,I remember I made such mistake a while ago putting the #lassecash on one of my content, without knowing fully well that I was not supposed to,but I got warned by someone in which I quickly went ahead and remove the tag.
But for some,they won't make amend and remove such tags,then with that it means such person did that on purpose.
On the other way I think it is very important that user's are educated on the use of tags.
And my question is do we really have a content that talks how to use tags?
I have not come across one since have been on the platform and have been using my initiative when it comes to tagging of content.
So I think that should be made known to users too..
I came across @onealfa content too last night talking about user that tries to farm token with the uses of tags.
So I think more enlightenment needs to be done on the use of tags too this days and people in that area needs to be warned to desist and if they don't not,just like @onealfa said a downvote or mute won't be a crime after warning them and they refuse not to stop it
It's a very interesting and important question.
It brings up the entire (potentially uncomfortable) question of "tagging for profit" vs. "tagging to facilitate content discovery."
If I write a post about "The science of brain chemistry," tagging both VYB and STEM might be totally appropriate and have nothing to do with trying to milk rewards. However, if the post were about "cooking a pizza," then it becomes tag spam.
Which ultimately leads to one of the issues I often railed on about, even back on the "old" chain: Automation/bots are "stupid" in a social web context because they can't actual interpret what they find, they can only make a "yes/no" decision.
As related to this particular discussion, building a community requires actual human beings (or cats!) who are willing to actually read and engage, rather than just "token farm." But beyond that VYB/POB are general content communities, meaning that there definitely are situations where tags other than our "home" tags are appropriate to use.

It's a good thing I'm seeing this now, considering the fact that I'm still new and trying to be at home here.
Well tag abuse should not be promoted, but what about when a post is relevant to multi front ends? A user might make a post which is relevant to #leofinance, #pyb and #vyb, and many other front ends. The motive might not be for the token, but for visibility and engagements of people around.
Perhaps It can go well if we can have a clear definition of post that can carry #vyb and #pob tag, so when unrelated post are carrying the tags, action might be taken against such user.
I think vyb tag and PoB tag can be use in any post ,it's define proofofbrain,there are not specific topic your can use proofofbrain tag on ,it's apply to all post not like leofinance tag ,that is a different case
