I was to preface this video by saying that I used to be the biggest scardeecat (is that how you spell it? That's probably the first time I've spelt it) in the world. I was afraid of everything. From riding a bike, to swimming, to the dark, to heights, to girls, to public speaking, to crypto! Haha --- Since then I've gone on this wild journey to conquer my fears and to this date, I can't say that I'm truly afraid of anything (except for big spiders - screw them...and snakes...okay so I take back my previous comment). The only way to get over any fear is to not run from it, but convert that fearful energy into empowerment. Today I talk about a sensitive and hot topic that some people have been talking about in chat forums and some videos here as well. My intention is to help with this video :)

Fear into power, vulnerability into strength. It seems as though there's always a moment when the behavior drops away, that the reasons for the behavior no longer apply, find a person is able to move forward without straining against something that originates within themselves. I am one of the new guys. However, I came to dtube not to upload or earn steem money but to avoid using youtube and avoid all these ads.
I hear ya 100% my friend. I'm on the same boat! I hate ads! I think I say that at least once every few videos LOL
Although I must admit that I have had almost every time an adblocker on youtube activated. I think it is more a matter of principle. For me dtube is more of an idea that must be supported because it is what social media in principle should be: a community that rewards through interaction and not trying to persuade users to consume useless products and hold them in addiction to squeeze more and more cash out of them. I hope this concept of social media will help to make these ad driven platforms of the asocial/comercial media obsolete.
Yes it's the concept behind it. It's the freedom. It's the equality and fairness. No one corporation can tell the people what is right and what is not right. Can we govern ourselves? I think we started off that way. Maybe as negative aspects of the human psyche got the best of them, we needed centralized entities to put the hammer down with an iron fist, but things are changing. Hopefully for the better :)

I have also been making an effort as well to engage in conversation with my clients and coworkers at work about cryptocurrency. It has really opened my eyes as to how many people aren't even aware of that word, much less
I, myself, have been making a conscious effort to engage in conversation with co-workers and clients about cryptocurrency. I will tell you this, it blows my mind the number of people that don't even know of the word, much less its meaning or how it's going to affect our future. As I referred to in one my earlier posts, having an open mind is 🔑, and will be very beneficial to them, if they are willing to take the time and learn about it!
