What a great week so far!
First we had the interview with Ned and @heimindanger talking about the future of the blockchain and d.tube (here) and yesterday the interview with @andrarchy (community liaison Steemit) was released here.
It was great! I highly recommend you watch it.
He talks about what the team is busy with at the moment. And even though it's the same thing as months ago (HF20 (easy signups), communities and SMT's) for me personally it's reassuring.
It's nice to hear from the team.
The current developments take time. It's pioneering stuff and I happily wait until it's solid before it comes out. In the meantime there is plenty stuff to do already on the STEEM blockchain and that's already a huge difference with any other blockchain out there. It's certainly no longer just blogging!
STEEM inc. are also making the transition from being a startup company to a 'real' company and I guess that is a huge change for them but also for us early Steemians. Things are professionalizing and it will require a different mindset from all of us in the future.

Yeah I also noticed that. It is not the case with other blockchain technologies but at steem it looks like steemit community owns it so they are also contributing through side projects.
I surely watched the latest Ned video.
I like his answers, mostly the one about SBD price.
He surely put it to rest and it is all about the community and all steemians to fix the price.

And the best part about all this is that i have barely noticed any spam content. Almost every single post i see, in new, or trending offers some kind of value.
Thanks for the links. Took some this morning and listened to everything. Seems like everything is progressing towards a very efficient platform for Steemit and very profitable crypto in Steem.
The constant efforts towards improvement and expansion is not seen in other crypto and the biggest reason I feel we have a great opportunity here.
Really looking forward to seeing how much growth we can have in the next 6, 12, and 24 months. Lots of room to grow here.

Yes that is how I see it also. Seen a few people on facebook talking about it being a quick way to make money in a few groups for my business. Been correcting them and letting them know there is no overnight success to making $500 profit per blog post. It takes work and dedication. But that it's better then the time they spend doing nothing productive on FB.
True talk....What Steem offers is a challenge of ingenuity and progress....To truly make it here, you must learn to adapt, evolve and consistently grow. You must also provide value and understand the biz aspect of blogging, vlogging etc on the Steem blockchain
Both the videos of Ned & Andy are wonderful, without any doubt Blockchain is the future and Steem is the best Blockchain, which handles the maximum volume at the current moment. Things look really exciting in future....
STEEM is the best blockchain and we are definitely going in right direction. I have little bit regret not knowing about Steemit when it was around 10 cent, but better now than never. Potential is enormous, which will also reflect on price.

More people need to know about Steemit and the freedom this social media platform offers. Steemit is a sanctuary of free thought and real life. A place where you can just blog about what you have going on in life and complete strangers wish you well and root you on. You can talk about things that are important to you and others from around the world can comment and share experiences. Steemit is a destination for journeyers. People that explore the world. Steemonians take advantage of life and we like to share our experiences. We like to read about new things and different perspectives that we can't get from the news or from other social media.

The team is working really hard behind the scenes this generates a power of trust in the system all along from investors to content creators this platform has got something for all
The price will be at fair value. I see the future value. When my vision is shared by others, the price will be very different. Our emotional attachment reflects the present value of future potential.
That's an interesting point you brought up about Steemit taking a step back to these apps and let them really promote the blockchain. I think it's a mix of both, I'm a blogger at heart so I'm partial to the content creation LOL
But I know what you mean and seeing all these apps that are coming up. It's awesome! Once some of these apps start generating more interest around the web, everyone prospers :)

Loved watching that interview. It made me look into what IPFS actually is. Now I am thankful! I think IPFS would be great if the platforms on Steem used it. Being in China, I'd rather not have this wonderful platform censored.

the steem inc is really setting the path forward for many companies out there to how to work as a whole team together and i don't think there's any better example than this
I'm very curious to see what will happen with the growth of this platform after HF20.
If they would do more of these interviews I'm sure people will feel more confident in steem.

It's fascinating to watch the network mature into something substantial. Always such a critical phase though. Lots of challenges in growing and becoming established but it's awesome to be a part of!
The complete system of improvising and executing different things at a single level wow steem has really came a long way from the start and you are really a witness of this thing
I watched the interview too and really enjoyed it. I think you're right about it being good for more front-end platforms to spring up and if they charge a percentage they can be really profitable. Dtube must have made thousands from you alone!
New projects are popping out on the steem blockchain every day, I'm excited to see what steem will become this year!

I've always told myself since the first time that I started working on the Steem blockchain that it's a different currency and gives the impression that it will have a lot of evolution in the future, especially when I see this number of platforms designed for this blockchain! in any case as you said you have to take things seriously and work professionally with Steem.
@exyle, Steem is highly underrated outside of its local scope. Time will nourish this beautiful sprout, and the technology will flourish into a towering tree giant.

yea sure, its not all about blogging anymore. steemit is really moving to greater heights and soon we will see the outcome.
like you rightly said, it is indeed a huge change for them and for us too and so we will need to develop a new mindset as time goes on to accommodate what they are about dishing to us i the near future.

From a "start up" company to real company... that's good ! Steemit is growing!
Steemit is a platform in its beginnings, although it is still in the Beta stage. It has achieved great success. I believe that a promising future is looming for this platform. Its strength lies in the fact that a group of integrated social sites (D-tub + steemit + busy ect. ..) We are still waiting for the darkest of this blockchaine . I wish you success and I think 2018 will be the year of Steemit with excellence .
The blockchain technology adopted by the steem is quite successful and I expect a great boom for its official platform steemit in the next few years .
Ned and Andy videos are amazing without any doubt Blockchain is the future and Steem is the best Blockchain of current period , Things seem really tremendous in future.
