Funny, when you expect the most fireworks when it comes to a hard fork. Nothing happens. (for now)
I sat ready watching the hard fork countdown timer slowly reach 0 seconds this afternoon.
The hard fork successfully activated at the set time and then nothing happened really.
I was expecting huge action from Bitcoin Cash and was really interested in the price but as of writing, not a single Bitcoin Cash block has been found.
So there is nothing to trade but futures.
Bitcoin with Segwit seems to work very well. I saw transactions confirmed with just a fee of 1 satoshi!

I see it as great news that segwit is working and transactions fees have went through costing only 1 satoshi. I've always felt the high transaction fees was BTCs biggest deterrent from being more widely used. Who wants to buy a $10 item when it costs $4 just to make the transaction. But then again, BTC could end up playing the role of a store and value and other coins will the be the token of choice in making normal daily transactions. I'm quite interested in seeing exactly how this shakes out.
We'll have to wait a big longer to see the fate of BCC, and that's fine. Good luck with your diet brother. It really sucks in the beginning but when you start to see some results you'll feel better about it. Have a great day!

Well it is a bit like every fork. It is pretty anticlimactic at first since nothing happens instantly.
At least there was no large fluctuations or dips. Everything seems pretty stable at the moment but let's see what will happen when BCC blocks are found. It may have been a good idea to keep your crypto in a hard wallet but I guess we will have to wait and see if they will find a block.
It seems like BCC is not getting the support which they anticipated and many people as expected stuck with BTC.
Well at least it was a really smooth transition and nothing drastic happened

The hard fork seems to have gone by without a hitch. I do think Bitcoin Cash is a going to be a bit more competitive than some people think but it should go down a bit a first.

This is actually good news... everything seems to going smoothly...Bitcoin cash is obviously going to crash when trading get started for it... i predict it to go below $10 very soon.
I'm not to excited about the fork, we don't necessarily know how long they will be holding the bitcoin cash tokens for. It's better to play it safe when stuff like this happens IMO.
Aside from the expected run up in price from BTC withdrawals...

Now the fork has happened, it proved to be nothing of too much attention. Bitcoin cash still hasn't come into the existence. People are still holding their bitcoin so that they can get bitcoin cash and the alt coin market is booming right now. I invested some money last night and it rose like great. Instead of waiting for bitcoin cash, alt coins investment was the best options for people. But this herd mentality people follows always proves futile in the end.

If you are feeling hungry, try 4 ounces of protein 5 times a day. (smaller meals but more of them). Of course, have vegetables with every meal.

What I would like is stability. I think unrest is great for day traders but I like steady growth. I think Steem price will go up in the long run. I do hope these exchanges will enable withdrawals and deposits doon.

4:18 Uhmm Segwit isn't implemented yet man ^^ Well on litecoin it is but not on BTC. It is still in the process of being accepted, then it will lock in for 2 more weeks. Low transaction fees must have an other explanation, maybe the diminution of transactions due to the HF?

lol, that is what I was thinking. The price is steady,speculation was that it would go down for a day or two, but then it will start rising. Nothing of that sort seems to be happening till now.. I read another article where they also say that new block is not built yet, it is taking time.
I posted in one of the post that news that is already know is not a big deal.

It's the Y2K of crypto! Prediction: I think Bcash will hold its value fairly well. If not right away, within a week I think it will be back to at least $200 usd.
