RE: Believer

If you were to play the piano notes (not chords), I think you'd be picking instead of strumming - sounds very basic, but monotonous - and that would likely be driving the tempo of the whole thing... So, lets assume the instructor is playing the piano..

Listening to it, I think you should volunteer to be the percussionist.

But, there is an underlying clap track and a separate snap track.

Better yet ... be their early, get a list of all the songs and see if there's one that requires chords....

Sort:

I will mime, ha! That will learn em. I will mime whilst watching out for some other player and copy them before starting to let the sound loose!

I could always take up my bongo. Hit it a few times and no one would dare say anything in case they looked racist! :OD

And now I've listened to it again. at 1:26, they break out the spoons.

I think you should give those kids a lesson - alway listen closely... Then carefully choose the easiest path ... sort of - Spoons can be tricky at a certain level.

The best part is when you find out this isn't the version of Believer that they will be playing.

As soon as I even saw the thumbnail I thought, this lady is going to know how to spoon. And she did. Although one must question why, why!!!

Once half of your teeth fall out, singing is out of the question... so then you grab a pair of spoons. 😂

Even when she slowed it down to show us how she's doing it, I couldn't keep up. She's definitely very talented!!!

Fast and furious she was. It must have taken ages to get to that level.

I will closely watch my teeth situation so I will know when it is time to take it up :0D

Guitar and a harmonica for you. Your hands will be too busy burning up the frets to worry about any silly spoons.

I have always been amazed at that people that play the harmonica as well as the guitar. I struggle with one thing at a time!
