My 2021 HIVE Highlight. Celebrating my HIVE Achievements. So Grateful for HIVE and How it Influenced my Life.

Wow. It has been 4 years since I joined Steemit and here we are in this amazing and life-changing HIVE platform.

Today, I am celebrating my 71 Reputation, which I hit yesterday and at the same time my 6000 HP, which I also hit yesterday. This made my day. These are my #hivehighlight (s) which is a Name Your 2021 Hive Highlight Challenge, created by @guiltyparties. The original contest post

I know the 6000 HP is not a big deal to most of you, but every 1000 HP I build, is a big step and achievement for me since when I first joined this platform, I had no idea what to expect. I didn't know anyone. I didn't know anything about cryptos.

I was learning by watching all the videos/posts about the platform. I have learned most of the basic steps of how this platform works and how to create good posts from @jerrybanfield 's posts/videos.

My first introduction post I believe made around $30 which I was very grateful for and very happy since I didn't know anyone here. The first month or few months, it was pretty tough, since I made cents on my posts, and I thought I would never get to a 1000 SP (now HP), but I wasn't going to give up that fast, because I started to post every day and started to learn more about the platform and I really, really enjoyed reading other posts and learning so many new things and slowly meeting new friends from all around the world.

Then one day, I was upvoted and followed by @canadian-coconut, which I couldn't believe that someone like @canadian-coconut would actually follow me when nobody really knew me yet.
From that day forward, it all changed for me, since @canadian-coconut kept on upvoting my posts and supporting me in a great way. I had hope.
I feel so blessed and grateful for this wonderful, inspiring, and loving lady and my friend and I hope that one day I can repay her somehow because, without her, my journey here would be so different.

To tell you the truth, 2021 year, has been the slowest for me here on HIVE, unfortunately, and not because I didn't like it or wanted to quit, but because with my work and my life, HIVE was so limited to me, which I was feeling pretty sad about it and would miss it a great deal.
I would miss my friends and all that is going on in this community, but life was quite busy and stressful, that I just couldn't find the time or energy to be here.

Once I got laid off from my job last month, I have been back here, posting daily again and enjoying my interacting with my friends again, and making new friends, and just really enjoying my time here. I'm just glad to be back and I guess that is my other great #hivehighlight for this year.

Hive has helped me grow in so many ways and I can't wait for what next year will bring for Hive and this incredible community. I just want to thank all the wonderful people/projects that are involved in creating/developing and working so hard to make this platform so incredible and better as the years go by.

Love @joalvarez

I am a great supporter of @familyprotection who is working very hard to help the families stay together and this project is the most amazing project that I would suggest for everyone in this hive community to check it out and support it and by doing it we are helping people in need who are trying to keep their kids safe from being taken away (kidnapped) by the Social Services. Thank you for visiting my post. If you like it, please don't forget to Upvote, Follow, and Rehive, it is very, very appreciated. Any suggestions are always very welcome so that I can keep improving in this community.
God Bless!

I totally understand you when it comes to "small" achievements, I also get very happy and excited when I reach another milestone. :D
I am so glad we met on these platforms as you have been one of my longest Steem/Hive friends and I'm also glad you are still active and have more time to post.

I know @nikolina. We pretty much started here at the same time and you are also my longest and dearest friends here on this platform, which I am so grateful for. Maybe one day we will be abke to meet in person, when Hive goes to the moon.

I agree with the sentiments in this blog, I appreciate the HIVE (formerly steem) community. Interestingly, we have the similar rep and start date, we're both dedicated to frequent posting and sharing our thoughts and lives on the immutable blockchain. I'm surprised I haven't been following - that changed today! Very much appreciate @canadian-coconut and @familyprotection, supporting quality family blogs and content.

Thank you so much for the follow, greatly appreciated. The funny thing is that I was sure I already was following you all this time, but when I checked I wasn't, so just followed you as well.

Oh yeah, @jerrybanfield helped me a lot with his posts on Steemit. Good old days.

Oh and mentioning @jerrybanfield really brings back memories.
