RE: ONE MONTH!! My Family and I Have One Month To Move Out Of Our House That We Put Everything Into!

in #life7 years ago

I haven't read the entire comments but your lease to own should have a period you have to buy. Since you have a legit contract you should be able to stay for the length of the lease or until you have a right to buy if you are making your rent payments on time.

You can always improve your credit score or find a program out there that fits your needs. I would find a good agent to give you advice in your market.

FYI: In SC, people who are doing lease to own and having the money be applied to the purchase can fight that they have equity in the house. Judges can make it then where a landlord would have to foreclose over evict. Again, real estate law can be different in each state.

Give me a call if you want general advice but I would call a real estate attorney and ask a few simple questions. Keep it as pleasant as you can but know your legal rights.

Thankyou brotha for the advice! The lease agreement was up... I tried to get it done, and I could not qualify for the home asking price the seller wanted! The only reason I am actually beyond frustrated was the trust the seller instilled in me....that we would figure it out regardless! I left it out of my post...because I didn't want to make excuses..go into reasoning... I only wanted to explain how things happen for a reason, and when one door closes another opens. I met with a real estate agent today!
I really should have looked into every option before going through with this though...like the money going into the purchase! I was very trusting this whole time lol
