Shattered pieces of my broken heart still beating
rhythmic pulses from a million shards
littering the dance floor like confetti
little flashes of firefly light
from a heart in smithereens
to make space
to hold more
to grow and change and adapt and evolve
to receive the blessing of failure
tikkun olam
and I'm doing my work

beating but not beaten
firefly flashes of broken beating light gather together
attracted back to themselves
broken heart confetti from other broken hearts
drawn in like magnets
growing piles of heart confetti and crowns
jigsaw our vessels back together
beloved broken pieces of ourselves
fitting themselves into a stronger net
of electrical impulses
please protect these tender pieces of shattered light
uniting in rhythmic heart beat harmony
but there's no place safe so I pray
come on blaze purafire - TAKE ME I'm yours
LET'S DO THIS
glory from these ashes
let it be magnificent
a sight to behold
the world on fire
it can never be the same
make it better than before
please gods, stay with me
