Introduction
We are still new here, but we are fast learners. We see lots of intellectual posts on Hive and appreciate the way they help us to learn and expand our horizons. We do not do many intellectual posts as we are artists and tend to go with the way things feel or to put it a different way, the vibe of a place. We are looking for place to inspire us and give us positive energy to create and work. I guess some would call it a muse, of a sort.
we have found a few Tribes/communities on hive that have been fantastic for this. I will mention Hive Pizza https://hive.pizza/ as this is such a supportive and fun community that you should definitely check out, but today I want to talk about @risingstar. Interestingly enough these are the first 2 tribes that we made gifs for. Already showing you how they have inspired us creatively.
Why did we post today and the generosity of others
The reason we started this post is because as you may or not know this month we were the legendary card on Rising Star. We do not get a copy for being the legendary copy as it would not be fair, but obviously we wanted one. When I say we wanted one, I mean we really wanted one! So we opened a lot of packs and kept our eyes open but we did not find one and there are only now 4 that have been issued. However yesterday @foxon who already had the first card found that someone had found another one. He instantly went to trade for it (I don't know what he paid). He then contacted me and offered me the card. I was ready to try and do a deal with off but he just gave it to us. I don't know why he did as it is an expensive card. I think maybe just to shut us up? But more probably cause one of the reasons is that he supports the Rising Star community and the artists that are involved.
I don't know what else to say about this apart from this generous offer has made us feel both blessed and appreciative of the community we are in. And all I can say to @foxon is ....

Another thing that happened within the Rising Star community in the last few weeks is both sad and heart warming, I bit like an episode of DIY SOS if anyone knows it. It has a sad beginning and tear jerking ending. Recently there have been lots of scam messages going around and poor old @trentonlundy1 unfortunately got his account hacked loosing everything he had worked so hard for. Now this was horrible to hear about especially as Trenton is a hardworking musician trying his best.
What was then amazing was the community pulled together to support him. Lots of people gave him Rising Star games as well as hives and hive tokens to help him get back on his feet. We sent him a few cards and bits and bobs and he now has a good deck of cards on Rising Star and hopefully a better wallet on Hive too. This to me is the absolute act of a community pulling together to support an individual who has hit hard times.
Communities supporting the arts.
Imagine a life without music. Imagine the silence. Imagine the times when a song has got to you and you listen to it over and over again. Imagine a song that takes you back to a special memory in your life (imagine theres no Heaven). Rising Star and Atom Collector records have consistently and positively promoted music on the blockchain. Supporting some amazing Artist and giving them an opportunity to have their music heard and also through the Records on Rising Star a way to make a little bit of money (Spotify basically gives your music away for free)
With everything free on the web these days making money from releases is hard but if you love music then support artists. Rising Star does this in abundance not only from sales but by the games radio station and also the Radio Evolved show on a Sunday (which you should check out). This demonstrates a community dedicated to supporting the creation of music that is the heartbeat of many people lives - thank you for supporting us in this way!
Conclusion
Rising Star is an amazing community and @jux and his team are endlessly and positively promoting Hive, music and community. They lead by example and what can be seen in this community that if you lead like this then others will follow. They have also created a great game to play while being a practical way for artists to promote their music. I would suggest if you love music then you should become a Rising Star and start playing not only the game but by becoming part of a community.

For every 99 people that come and go through our community someone like you sticks around (see what I did there!) and makes the whole even bigger than the sum of the parts were before.
This community is what drives and inspires me every day.
There are so many selfish people in this world and so many obviously unhappy people that take every opportunity to complain about something or take a swipe at someone for no reason at all. BUT as our community grows through mutual respect and love we become a bigger and bigger force for good that is impenetrable.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts of which I am sure many agree wholeheartedly.

This community is amazing. People are always helping each other out and it's not just about money. @atomcollector has built something special that deserves to be massive. I really hope to see more musicians get involved soon.
