Magic is about influence, the art of influence at it's base. Entertainment magic influences through deception to trick the audience for entertainment purposes.

The base of the art of influence is done through language, words and images. These are forms of symbolic imagery, conveying images of reality or unreality. The etymological root of magic means to be able, to have power; the power to influence how others perceive (real or unreal), think and act. Influence in consciousness can lead to behavior in existence. Writing, speech and other behavior can influence others.
We can influence reality -- and influence others in reality -- through our use of symbols, whereby the speech/word/logos is the magic/heka (magickal/meaningful speech, art of the mouth), the activation of our ka/power ("spirit"-essence-nature-consciousness) through the action of our speech that influences others in reality. Through such power from consciousness, we can affect things in existence/reality. This is how language is word magic to influence, create, manifest, generate or change things in reality.
Words are a reflection of concepts in consciousness, concepts that in turn reflect real or imaginary things. Some concepts are causally linked to the actions we perform, the behavior in the world. Speaking influences the conceptual understanding of reality and can alter the behaviors engaged in reality, through modification of our axioms and cares/desires that drive and motivate us to act and behave in life.
Our moral essence-nature-character is a reflection of who we are now, which is output into reality as the behavior we engage in. Everything you hear or see has the potential to influence and affect you. Everything you say or do has the potential to influence and affect others and their behavior.
The objective external reality has us an others in it. Reality is affected by us all as we output action-behavior into it. Our actions then reciprocate back to affect and influence us all in turn, as a cycle of life, the Wheel of Life, the Wheel of Time, Fortune, Fate, Destiny, Dharma and Karma. This is the magic of ourselves and reality. We influence reality and others - others and reality influence us. This is the magic of life.

Reality is the primacy of existence to affect and influence us as consciousness. Consciousness is the power to affect and influence reality. We are the creators and generators of our individual subjective inner reality; of the thoughts, emotions and actions that we generate and experience. We influence objective reality, and therefore the subjective reality that others experience as well, who then influence our experience through the reciprocal feedback loop of existence-consciousness (as far as the human artificial world we create within the pre-existing world/reality we did not create).

We are co-creators of the human world we have made (not all of reality), we are each "gods" and creators within our own internal consciousness (thoughts, imagination), capable of creating, changing and affecting the human world we live in that would not exist without us acting to make it what it is. This is the power and ability of magic to influence ourselves, each other, and the world we create together.

consciousness is a different world @krnel Let's start with an affirmation to see if I can understand the topic: suppose that reality does not exist. It is the product of a construction, in which our feelings participate by co-creating it. And over them, the influence of thought is decisive.
Nobody has ever seen a thought, even in the most advanced laboratories, but what you see is the electrical storm that causes every mentalism.
So, to effect changes in our world, we first need to experience the feelings that the change has already happened.

We engage in actions in the world to affect change and create into the world. It doesn't happen with thought alone. Thought and emotion lead to action. Action is required. Consciousness is a different world indeed.

I do think we create our reality, and the perception we (and others) have of our reality.
But since you mentioned magic, I have to ask, do you believe in magic? and what examples can you share about real magic?
Or perhaps with magic you simply means the use of tricks to change the perception of things in other people?
You create your own inner reality that reflects the outer reality, accurately or not. You have perceptions that are only yours, and info that you have that doesn't match 100% what others have, so this creates a unique perception of the totality of objective reality, but you don't create objective reality alone ;) That is shared by all.
Real magic? Like fantasy magic in fiction? No, not real as far as I know. I wasn't talking about that at all ;)
Magic is of influence that is words, language, images,etc. to get people to take in information and be influenced by it to alter their perceptions or the world, accurate or not. What we do is based on the info we have, and the motivations from how we view ourselves and the world, which has all been influenced into us from birth. Everything we see and hear influences us, and a lot of it affects what we think, feel and do in some degree.

Everything we say is infused with the energy of magick whether people believe it or not. What we speak are sounds (vibrations) that are passed down by cultures for describing their understanding of their perceived reality. These vibrations coming from the tones are spells that have the power to enslave or free people.
What happens when kids are taught in traditional school systems? They are taught to spell, and are given definitions and labels which form their belief system. Unfortunately, history is written by the ones teaching a system of control which puts the society, students, and teachers in a spell to live in a state of fear, which is disconnect from spirit life force (thus easier to poison and manipulate).
When I say "apple", people may visualize an apple. When I say "no apple", chances are, people still visualized an apple. The various levels of mind are interesting when diving into it. Therefore understanding the language of spells, infused with the energy-in-motion via feelings, and how we utilize it; can influence ourselves and others very interestingly. This includes neurolinguistic programming and beyond.
If I say the spell "impossible", many people feel a sense of defeat (from their beliefs and energy they attach to the spell / word). What people must realize is that they have the power to redefine the spell which shifts their waking state of being. Change the definition to I M Possible. I AM Possible, or Infinite Already Made Possible. Thus the spirit flow can rewrite the energy, just as it can horoscopes, numerology, biorhythms, graphology, etc. The superconscious is beyond time space continuum and that is where true power comes from. Comes from Source, and within. Power vs Force.
The sound affects the light, and vice versa, which is a reflection of the dream. I like how the visuals that you use show the power of circles; because ancient civilizations understood the power reflected in toroid and seed of genesis, which may reflect in the flower of life, medicine wheels, mandalas, etc. that they used to cultivate the energy of spirit into physicality to shift reality by co-creating new dreams for awakening. Merge the two circles, and you get the vesica womb of creation. Add three and you get trinity. I do recognize the black sun in one of the pictures which some older groups may use for dark magick as well, but then again.. what do I know? Not much in the grand scheme of things.

I've been wanting to write a post on the placebo effect for a while. We basically have untapped powers over our body that are scientifically proven to exist. Mind over matter.
Yes, mind over matter works. I've mentioned it in one post, I forget which one, about how you can induce anxiety attacks. That is all from consciousness to create physiological responses. It's all self-made ill effects. Body affects brain and consciousness, consciousness affects brain and body too ;) Two way feedback.
Hmm, philosophy I a world of great thinkers. Nice post. I don't doubt the existence of magic and the presence of after life at all. But so times I just ask questions I can answer. I don't even know if answers are provided yet for this questions..... Existence of Man is still a mystery to me.

I like this! There is something sooo alluring to me in the use of personal magic. Translating, like you do, these symbols into modern usage makes so much sense. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about manifestation and attracting through inner yin reception dreams, people, emotional states, etc. Very engaging stuff!! 😘

It is important for me to bewitch myself with words. I think that the influence of words will make us follow it, how the instructions make the brain think and follow it.
So the suggestion given will make us feel enchanted. And it would be a motivation for myself if I bewitched it with words of zeal and never give up.
But honestly I say, seeing magic or a terrible magic, it will make my heart pounding with worry.
