This month I also summoned a couple of Hive whales. In the olden days of ~Steem~, speaking out about dubious milky actions either fell on deaf ears (as those you told were doing the same), or you were chastised/downvoted for complaining. I'm glad we are doing better than that now.

Triple heal Sea monster is hard to beat in low mana matches. I only have Alric leveled though, so don't like wasting the +1 to magic. I want to make Water my default high mana splinter (Kraken and friends), so Lir is the reasonable choice there.
Not sure I can justify leveling Lir and Bortus. I'm loving Ice Pixie at the moment.
That Shatter is coming in handy, particularly now she's leveled up her speed.
Yeah the Sea Monster and friends are pretty stubborn unless a full on magic attack appears, or you get done from round the back.
I see less people using magic deflect these days and so a low health magic attack card like the Pixie is less risky. So many tactical options to consider!
Even if she dies in the first couple of rounds, so many times she's taken 7 armour off a tough tank.

Tournaments, what are they? :D
Basically it's a way of winning DEC if you rank high enough and it doesn't waste your Dark Energy Capture Rate. There is usually a fee to enter and it can be found in the "Events" tab of Splinterlands.
It's a bit time consuming but there are 24 hour rounds so you have an entire day to put in your teams. Sometimes I don't think it worth the effort but sometimes I just like the challenge. Usually if you do well, there's a second round for the top 30% to find the true winner.
