A couple months ago, I started compiling a list of bots who reply to other peoples posts on the Steem blockchain. This is the 2nd edition of that list, now properly placed inside the /f/steemdev forums on chainBB for developers to reference. I'll continue maintaining and adding to this list for future reference.
The primary version of this list now exists within the chainBB github repository and the bots are listed below:

Edit - Updated and merged list provided by utopian.
.
Awesome! I'll merge those into the list as well.
Just curious - what is the purpose of this bot list?
I'm currently using it for two things on chainBB:
In the future I want to make a "bots" view on chainBB so you can see all the bots that have interacted with a post, outside of the flow of the actual discussion itself.
Auto-collapse...I like that. Too bad they can’t be auto-removed from the blockchain.
So much spam coming from all of these “helpful” bots. And that’s in addition to the regular spam. Such a waste of block space and bandwidth, not to mention all of the comment section clutter.
As always - you’re doing a fine job!
Hah, yeah they do account for a significant portion of spam. I hate scrolling through a thread and all the sudden there's 10 bot posts in a row because someone promoted their post with a bunch of upvote bots. I don't really care that they're buying votes, but the spam... ugh... and it's permanent.
Thanks, just trying to do my part to build an interface on the blockchain that sucks less :D
I am working with Qurator group and we are working on removing those comments and getting a different marketing model. It is just difficult to get traction without the comment, but anyway hopefully in future the name will be gone from the list. In my opinion it is a step in the right direction
I love the idea of auto-collapsing bot comments... that would be an awesome feature.
I do worry about this form of spam... I look at Steemit stats and especially such things as "number of comments per post" which is low and declining as is... and wonder just how low it would be if the bot were excluded from the counts.
I don't know what can be done to help rescue engagement (by humans) around here... but thanks for what you're working on.
Im actually a real person with crazy comments. lol I did test out the cat facts which was hilarious. 😀
lol i am real too =] but you wouldnt think it with 0sp
Hah, congrats on making the list :)
I wish I could have made it while I was running a bot I would have probably gotten a lot of traffic. It was fun but not worth the headaches. Then when it glitched it was bad. The freakazoid was realistic ai that often still fools me. They are getting so good that it will be near impossible to distinguish them soon.
Nice list good to have this information
I finally got on a list...haha
nice congrats!!
You have collected your daily Power Up! This post received an upvote worth of 0.16$.

Good to see you in this thread, where you belong.
Do you know which vote bidding bots still upvote comments?
Great work. It looks like you left off quite a few bid bots. Is this because they are summoned instead of acting on their own?
There's been so many lately I'm probably missing some. If they reply to posts (even when summoned), I'd like to add them.
There's a full tracking list on @yabapmatt's Steem Bot Tracker.
There's a couple there, but I don't think that list is comprehensive enough.
Agreed. I wish it were more comprehensive, but I haven't had the time to make a full list of bidding bots, verify that they are still operating as bidding bots, and share it with @yabapmatt
@wang still exists? Good old wang, reminds me of the old days :-)
Cg
This is a blessed effort, but to me, and to most other Steemit users, the more important question is what are all of the vote bidding bots, and even more importantly, what are all the vote bidding bots that still upvote comments?
2.13% @pushup from @stimialiti
I've always had a soft spot for bottymcbotface ;)
Great meeting you at steemfest, top performance at the club. Really digged the music :]
haha, right on!
Thanks for the kind words. With Dan back in town, we'r working hard on new SteemBirds materials. Stay tuned !
Keep up the good work bots. Someone needs to leave comments on high quality submissions cuz the users can’t be bothered. It’s the number one problem.
I literally laughed out loud. Sadly comments from bots usually do not lead to very invigorating conversations.
From all of they I like @cheetah because he help us to see if the content is original or not.
Nice! Thank you!
Wow, that's a great job, my favorite bot is minnowsupport, maybe because I'm still a minor, it helps a lot.
I don't like cheetah visit at all even though I love it's super watchdog activities on steemit.
All of the bots are unique in their respective tasks on steemit.
Thanks for sharing @jesta
Very useful, thank you very much. Is randowhale still active? I haven't seen it awake in a while.
I think they retired @randowhale a few days ago.
Yeah, that's what I heard, but it makes this list obsolete prior to it being published and we should question the others on it as well. Be careful before you send your well earned steems somewhere.
The first time i came to steemit mcbottyface sent me $0.63, i thought it was really human, thank you for clearing this up.
Nice information. Keep on sharing @jesta
Thank you. All your publications are useful and I personally benefit from them. We are always waiting for more
awesome list
The list is huge... Anyway is a good information. Thanks
Such a long list. I had no idea the list was so long. Thanks for sharing.
Wow... that's a lot of bot spam, and it seems like it's getting worse every week. I worry about the dropping interaction level here... which is very real, except for a small group of contributors who create consistently engaging content.
My concern is that Steemit probably doesn't have much of a future (on a greater scale) if it ends up pretending to be a "social" site that actually is just run by various types of automation. Who's going to abandon Facebook or Reddit to be part of that? I could be wrong, but my gut hunch is "not many."
Hi @jesta. I’m new here in Steemit. Though its kinda hard to understand stuff here, I’m really enjoying the community. I came across your blog, and originalworks is listed. Is it bad to tag these accounts? I’ve been tagging them, because they give upvotes. I’m not really sure if its okay. Please enlighten me. Hehe😂
Thank you for always working hard to make this platform a better place. Greatly appreciated
Peace over all of us, very nice post from either the word or the appearance
I am a beginner, I need the support of seniors players long steemit to support my passion in playing this, steemit
