It's almost that time of the year again! SteemFest! This year Steemians from all over the world will gather in Kraków, Poland for the third annual festival.
Nominate Your Favorite Creator
Along with a sponsorship of the event, we at Steemit headquarters want to give the best creators on the platform a chance to win a trip to SteemFest. We invite you to nominate your favorite Steemit creator for a trip to (and optional, performance) at SteemFest next month.
We are specifically talking about Steemit creators who are singers, songwriters, djs, performers, painters, photographers, artists and stand-up comedians. But anyone who nominates others can also enter a raffle to win a ticket too.

Here’s what the 5 winners will each get:
A fully paid trip to SteemFest*
Fully paid accomodations in Krakow*
SteemFest ticket, optionally a performing slot (if deemed fitting)*
*max price per winner capped at 2K USD for trip, stay, steemfest regular ticket

You cannot nominate yourself. We want you to nominate those you feel deserve a spot to perform at SteemFest or display their works of art. You will only be entered into the wildcard raffle after you nominate people for the other categories, and also specify that you’d like to be enrolled in the wildcard raffle.
The last day to enter is October 19th. Winners will be announced, October 22nd.

As if a one word reply would suffice to show support of and up and standing farmer's nominations for tickets to a fest of steem. As an impartial outside observer I can honestly say without a doubt LLfarms should be given the honor of introducing all those brilliantpeople onto a stand where they can
dance for dollar billsperform and entertain the masses.Even ABH agrees with LL. Amir must get to steem fest. It would be like the movie road trip but with camels and goats instead of weed. Pechi too because Bacon is awesome!!
100 % for @amirtheawesome1 . Let's get this guy there. He is beyond a national treasure. He has won the @comedyopenmic contest at least 5 times that I know of. He has been curied so many times on his comedy post that we are all starting to think he kidnaped one of@curie kids or something. Oh gosh--thank you so much for this! And I'm with you on the Jonny Clearwater "this is a must," too. I'm not changing my vote for Engine, but man oh man...either one of those guys will really bring something to the table. I met them in Nashville over the summer, and they're both a hoot! Jonny will make you laugh without saying a dang word. Just that look he gets on his face. He lived in pajamas the whole weekend and totally rocked them. So YES...agree with your nomination for him 100%.
I'm having the hardest time coming up with a list...it's the categories honestly.....I know some amazing people that deserve to go but don't fit into any of these cats.
Like @enginewitty and you @rhondak but which of these categories would either of you fit in? There is no cat that just says awesome ass steemians that curate till there's no 2morrow and create great initiatives for content creators. I also think there should be a cat for blockchain devs too....just saying....creating tools/dapps for and on this blockchain is some of the best "creators" we could hope for. Trying to fill this list based on the categories provided kinda sucks.
This would be an amazing opportunity for so many of us.
I'd absolutely love to record live episodes from Steemfest and I could streem them on @vimm too.

Jonny, I fit quite nicely in the "art" category, since the contest requirements for art as follows:
"Writing" would definitely be me. I've posted many original short works of fiction on my Steem blog, including the winner of a v4vapid conspiracy contest and another that placed second in the @hardfork-series contest run by Eric Vance Walton and Doug Karr. I've also published two novels and have third one to be released by Steemhouse Publishing. So I'm actually really glad you raised this question, because I'm sure others may be wondering, too, and certainly the judges of this contest. ;-)
Wish all those weren't lumped together though.
It would certainly make each category easier to win!!!
Didn't know I did hip-hop? Plus I have 3 radio shows and read poetry. So spoken word definitely applies😎 a dev and curator category would have been sweet.

hahaha - well, you saw that I threw my name into the raffle too! We would write like mad on the airplane and meet up every day in a cafe and not leave until we have at least 2000 words down. We would be ahead!!!
LOL! I have a wedding to go to at the end of nov. My daily target is already 2k! :) But seriously, very nice you thought of me - there are so many really talented artists out there.

Thank you. And thanks also for the nomination. I feel a bit bad (how stupid is it to feel guilty for being nominated for such a lovely thing?!) because the timing is dreadful. My wife's mother is really sick so it is unlikely I'd be able to go (one of us needs to be here to hold the fort, and my wife might need to go back to uk at short notice - she is there at moment for a week). So please @mariannewest and @honeydue feel free to change your nomination. You have made my day that you both thought of me :)

Saffisara!!! Thank you a million times over for the nomination! :-) What a lineup, eh? What are the chances of the folks you named all getting to go? It would be wonderful. I work hard for the platform, yes. Lots of different irons in the fire where that's concerned, and I actually have business on stage there. But that's kinda beside the point, because just look at the other three you named!!! This place would not be the same without them. They belong at Steemfest. Lord have mercy, I hope they go.
